Chapter 2734 Rescue from the Execution Ground

The fourth master in the restaurant watched every move on the execution ground through binoculars, remaining silent.

Su Peisheng refilled the Fourth Prince's cup of hot tea and asked cautiously, "Master, the Thirteenth Prince reported that there was unusual activity in the crowd... Can His Majesty order an arrest?"

Fourth Master didn't put down his binoculars, and replied calmly, "It's not time yet! Let's hold back for now..."

Su Peisheng nodded and withdrew. The Seventeenth Master, somewhat impatient, began to stir: "Fourth Brother, we're sure to succeed this time... as long as they dare to make a rash move..."

Fourth Master smiled without saying a word, signaling Seventeenth Master to calm down and patiently continue observing.

Several mysterious women below the execution platform, seeing the densely packed crowd around them, exchanged glances, nodded, and then pulled several black objects from their robes, suddenly tossing them onto the execution platform…

Suddenly, thick smoke billowed out, and a choking sound filled the air... My vision blurred...

The crowd immediately became agitated, with screams and shouts rising and falling. People fled in all directions, barely able to see their way through the thick smoke. People bumped into each other and shouted, creating an extremely chaotic scene.

The princes on the execution platform were choked by the thick smoke and covered their noses, then hurriedly lay down. The Fifth Prince was the most agitated, hiding under the table with his head in his hands, trembling and praying.

Thirteenth Prince was shocked and, suppressing his discomfort, rushed to the stage to search everywhere. It turned out that Thirteenth Prince seemed to have been prepared for all of this, and he quickly led his men to begin searching the scene.

None of this escaped the eyes of the Fourth Master in the restaurant. The Fourth Master calmly nodded to the Seventeenth Master behind him, who obeyed and left. The Fourth Master clenched his fists and stared blankly outside.

Before long, the thick smoke dissipated, and visibility gradually improved...

"Oh no! The prisoner is missing..." Third Master pointed at the execution platform, his face filled with alarm.

The Thirteenth Prince strode onto the platform, only to find three empty wooden stakes remaining; the three female assassins had vanished without a trace. Several guards lay unconscious to the side, and the executioner was lifeless. The Thirteenth Prince anxiously scanned his surroundings. Below the platform lay a few wounded civilians and a pile of rubbish and debris. Everything around was in disarray and overturned. The Thirteenth Prince roared in fury, "Damn it... they actually got away..."

He then instructed the guards, "Go and search the surrounding area thoroughly! Don't overlook any clues..."

Eighth Master, Ninth Master, and the others slowly crawled out from under the table. Fifth Master was still curled up and trembling, refusing to come out. Ninth Master glared at him with disgust and scolded in a low voice, "Fifth Brother, get up... Everyone's gone, what are you afraid of?"

Fifth Master didn't even dare to raise his head, his voice trembling: "No... I don't want to die..."

Ninth Master nervously looked around at the situation and said in a trembling voice, "Eighth Brother, just now..."

Eighth Master glared back, then blinked and whispered, "Don't make a sound... things are definitely not that simple!"

Ninth Master gasped in fear, following closely behind Eighth Master. Fifth Master trembled, tugging at Ninth Master's clothes, too scared to stand steadily.

Thirteen Master carefully searched the crime scene and found only the smoke bomb that had caused the thick smoke. He realized that it was just a smokescreen and posed no real threat. He was furious.

"A trivial skill..."

After a while, the guards who had returned from the search reported to the Thirteenth Prince that they had found nothing. The Thirteenth Prince, as expected, said nothing more. However, the other princes behind him, puzzled, exchanged bewildered glances and sighed…
