When they saw that Ye Difeng and his companion were only two people, many people in the camp immediately became restless.
The first to attack was a thin, hunched old man with two tufts of white nose hairs peeking out of his nostrils, short hair, a withered and yellowish complexion, and a mouth full of black and yellow teeth when he grinned.
"Young men, how dare you two wander around like this? Horseshoe Mountain is extremely dangerous. Why don't you hand over your equipment and skill books, and I'll protect you?"
The old man was talking while popping peanuts into his mouth.
At this moment, the old man's companions had already surrounded Ye Difeng and Gan Er.
Including the hunched old man, there were eight of them, each of them looking menacing.
In their view, an eight-on-two situation was a complete one-sided crushing defeat.
Ye Difeng raised his eyelids, his cold eyes under the mask glancing at these people. Then he gave a wink, and Gan Er understood instantly!
Gan Er's black shirt suddenly burst open, revealing incredibly strong muscles with bulging veins.
Bang!
Preaching is useless; broken bones are the best textbooks.
Gan Er didn't give those people a chance to react. He attacked without warning, punching one of them through the chest, sending pieces of internal organs and blood splattering all over the ground.
The man gripped a knife tightly in his hand, his eyes filled with disbelief. He wanted to swing the knife at Gan Er, but with his heart shattered, he had no strength left, and his hand holding the knife fell limply to his side.
Gan Er tossed the man's corpse aside as if he were throwing a sack of potatoes, and charged toward the next person like a wild beast.
The man was terrified and hurriedly raised a steel shield in front of him. Unexpectedly, transparent crystals suddenly appeared on Gan Er's fist, and his entire fist instantly became as dazzling as a diamond.
Then, Gan Er's punch pierced through the man's steel shield!
The man's eyes widened, and blood mixed with dark red clots gushed from his mouth. His head lolled to the side, and he breathed his last.
After throwing the man aside, Gan Er grabbed the third man and, with a roar-like fury, tore the third man's body in half with his bare hands!
Gan Er's expression was extremely ferocious, like a maddened wild beast.
"You dare kill my men?"
It wasn't until Gan Er killed three people in a row that the hunchbacked old man finally reacted. He let out a scream and then spat out the peanut in his mouth.
The peanut flew towards Gan Er like a bullet, hitting him directly on the shoulder. Gan Er's left arm immediately went limp and hung down as if it had no bones.
"Acupressure? That's interesting." Qiao Suinian watched the old man's actions and couldn't help but raise the corners of her mouth.
Judging from the looks of it, this old man probably learned some medical skills before the apocalypse.
Acupressure does exist, but it originally originated as a massage technique in Traditional Chinese Medicine.
Ancient medicine believed that there was a channel and hub in the human body that circulated blood and qi and maintained the connection between the body surface and internal organs, and called it the meridians.
There are special points on the meridians of the human body where essence, qi, blood and other vital energy gather, are infused and transmitted; these are called acupoints.
Acupressure involves applying pressure to these points using fists, fingers, elbows, etc., to achieve the therapeutic effect of massage.
However, acupressure is not so easy. It requires not only precise location of the acupoints but also a great deal of force to complete the acupressure; otherwise, it will be ineffective.
Just like the temple, which is well known, it's usually fine to press or bump it a little. But if you're in a car accident or fall and your temple hits a rock, then you're definitely in for a serious injury.
The old man spat out a peanut with great force, which hit an acupoint and temporarily blocked the blood flow to Gan Er's arm, so Gan Er's arm naturally lost its strength.
Gan Er let out an angry roar, but he still couldn't muster any strength in his left arm, as if it had been cut off.
"Hmph, you won't listen to reason, so you'll have to suffer the consequences. Originally, all you had to do was hand over your equipment, but now you two will have to leave your lives behind too!"
Seeing Gan Er's powerless and furious appearance, the hunchbacked old man sneered.
He was clearly furious about Gan Er killing three of his men. After all, his target was Tianyun Temple, and now he had lost three men before even reaching the mountain. How could he not be angry?
The hunchbacked old man stuffed another handful of peanuts into his mouth, but before he could spit them out, a white smiling mask appeared in front of him.
Ye Difeng had appeared in front of him without him noticing, and a look of fear flashed in the old man's eyes.
With a soft "thud," came the sound of a sharp blade piercing flesh.
Ye Difeng held a sharp dagger and plunged it into the old man's mouth, then twisted it forcefully.
The hunchbacked old man struggled desperately in pain, and blood-stained peanuts, along with his shattered tongue and teeth, fell out of his mouth.
He forcefully pushed Ye Difeng away. At this moment, his mouth had become a bloody black hole, and even his lips had disappeared, having been sliced off by the sharp dagger.
"Waaaaah!"
The old man tried to beg for mercy, but because of the draft, he could only make a muffled sound.
Ye Difeng thrust out his knife again, this time aiming for the hunchbacked old man's throat.
This strike was originally intended to kill the old man instantly, but at the crucial moment, Ye Difeng suddenly felt dizzy for some reason.
The knife didn't pierce the old man's throat, but instead sliced along his neck, leaving a bloody gash on the hunched old man's neck from which blood gushed out.
