Chapter 11 Son of Sin 11
Whenever a member of the Ji family returned from outside, Yu Man would take the initiative to ask, "Has anyone died outside today?"
When no one else was around, she would ask Ji Huaizhi when he would make his move, but Ji Huaizhi ignored her. Judging by the time, the Yu family should be arriving soon.
Yu Man cursed everyone here to die every day, muttering about retribution.
The Ji family members, who were outside slurping down their noodle soup, felt it was bad luck, and even Er Ma's wife couldn't stand it anymore.
"Brother, aren't you going to do anything about this wife of yours? She's always making a racket here. Isn't that bad luck?"
"What normal person would curse someone to death?" She paused, then added, "Has she gone mad?"
Ji Dama held the large bowl and slurped around the rim: "Everyone's been too busy lately to take care of her, let her go hungry for a couple of meals."
"Even if she starves for two days, she'll still be like this." Old Mrs. Ji felt that she had no strength left after handling these two funerals.
"We should really manage this properly. If others hear about it, it will definitely be bad luck, and we won't be well-liked as a result."
Er Ma's wife nodded, seemingly agreeing with the viewpoint.
When Ji Huaizhi came home from school and saw the injuries on his body, he fell silent. The handprint on Yu Man's face was conspicuous and smeared with blood.
"You'll kill them, won't you?"
"Yes, they will." Ji Huaizhi told her definitively, "They've arrived and are currently inquiring in Xiangqian Town."
"A man named Yu Sheng came to see me today."
Upon hearing this, Yu Man burst into tears, crying her heart out.
She pulled at her hair, covered her face, and realized she hadn't heard her loved ones' names in so long.
It's been so long since I've been this close to my family.
Ji Huaizhi let her cry quietly, and the people outside who heard it thought something had happened.
Today, during school dismissal time, Yu Sheng also wanted to try his luck at the school gate.
Unexpectedly, a child with a backpack saw him and walked straight over, asking if he came alone.
The moment Yu Sheng saw the child, he knew whose child he was; the resemblance was striking.
She resembles his sister, and she also resembles him.
"Is she doing well?" All the questions in the world boil down to one.
Isn't it good that the children can go to school in town? It's not as bad as they imagine.
But the child's words shattered his broken heart.
"See that dog?" Ji Huaizhi pointed to the small white dog tied up in the square not far away: "Just like it."
What good can happen to a woman who has been trafficked?
Yu Sheng's hands were trembling uncontrollably.
He's a little hesitant to bring his parents tomorrow.
During dinner, Er Ma's wife was talking about Yu Man's unusual behavior: "Today she asked me to fetch water for her to wash her face and also asked me to find her some clean clothes."
"It seems she wants to settle down and live a peaceful life with her older brother."
Ji Dama slurped the soup noodles in his bowl, then picked up a steamed bun from the table, saying with a hint of pride, "So you still have to beat women, the more you beat them, the more obedient they become."
"Isn't that you, bro?"
Upon hearing this, Er Ma's wife rolled her eyes.
"yes."
"After dinner, go to your cousin's house," Grandma Ji suddenly said. "Such a good son is dead, and the couple can't accept it."
Ji Dama pursed his lips: "It's all fate. I felt sorry for it at first, but later I was actually quite happy."
Unable to hide his schadenfreude, he said, "Who told them to always show off in front of us? So what if they have money? So what if they own a sheep farm?"
"And what was the result? What's the use of having so much money?"
Ji Dama shrugged and said, "My son is dead."
Ji Erma laughed, "I used to dislike them too, and I even thought about poisoning their sheep."
Grandma Ji didn't react at first, then immediately stopped him: "Is this something you can actually do?"
“There are people watching over their sheep farm.”
"If you get caught, your legs will be broken."
Ji Erma broke off half a piece of bread to wipe the bowl: "I said I wanted to, not that I was going."
Ji Dama laughed: "Brother, you're the one who keeps quiet all the time; you're the worst at heart."
“I’m not only wicked, I’m also petty. I’ll stay home and sleep if I’m not going.” Ji Lao Er put down his bowl and prepared to get up.
"No way!" Er Ma's wife immediately objected: "You have to go, or neither of us will go."
"What's wrong with you now?" Ji Erma shouted impatiently!
Er Ma's wife doesn't look good. What can she do?
Leaving them, a man and a woman alone in a cave, what else could he possibly do with his despicable character?
This isn't the first time this has happened.
She was so full that she made him stay at home.
This guy is really something.
Er Ma's wife looked at her eldest brother and said, "I just feel it's inappropriate. It would be bad if outsiders saw that you didn't go."
"Besides, everyone knows we have someone tied up in our house... Wouldn't it be a laughing stock if people found out you two were alone together?"
Ji Erma punched her on the head as if he had been hit on the head.
She was buzzing around.
"Why are you shooting? People can die here! Where can't you shoot?" Old Mrs. Ji said, "Go, everyone. What kind of scene would it be if you didn't go?"
Ji Dama picked his teeth with a small twig he broke off from the broom: "Women are just so suspicious."
Er Ma's wife looked up as if to say something, but was glared at by Old Lady Ji.
"You don't feel ashamed, yet you just blurt it out?"
"You're all so restless these days, always going out!"
Ji Huaizhi quietly finished his meal and put down his bowl: "Grandma, I'm doing my homework at home."
"Alright, be a good boy." Grandma Ji finally showed some kindness to her grandson: "Your two cousins live at school, you can go play with your uncle's kids."
Er Ma's wife was wiping the bowl with a handkerchief when the throbbing pain in her head made her angry.
He kept working with his hands while cursing under his breath.
They pick on whatever sounds awful to say and hurl insults at you.
Finally, seeing that she didn't react, he threw the dishcloth he had used to wipe the dishes in her face and hit her hard a few times.
"Shameless slut."
"Why are you washing your face, you dog? What's the point of you even living? Why don't you just die?"
"Aren't so many men enough for you?"
