Modern Extra <23>

She laughed uncontrollably and walked in, "Ah Xian, don't make trouble."

Hu Biao was quick and efficient, and had almost finished cleaning up. When he heard her voice, he turned around, smiled innocently, and waved his hands, "It's okay, it's okay. He didn't make any trouble. He's very sensible."

Jiang Ling reached out and pulled Zhou Xian over, then said to Hu Biao, "We'll be eating soon. Come down after you rest for a while."

After he agreed, he pulled Zhou Xian downstairs.

"What did you talk about with Uncle Hu?"

Zhou Xian raised his eyes and smiled, "I asked Uncle Hu if he was Tutu's relative."

Jiang Ling laughed out loud, "Naughty."

Jiang Ling and the other two were relatively quiet during their meal, due to the Da Gan family's rule of not talking while eating or sleeping, and the Zhou family's rules were similar, something they had grown accustomed to over the decades. However, they weren't completely silent; sometimes Jiang Ling couldn't help but chime in, and Zhou Jing'an would respond. Over time, they began to talk, becoming less rigid.

Hu Biao also talks little when he eats. He has gotten used to it after working for so many years. There is little time for eating and no time for chatting.

After dinner, he stood up and rushed to wash the dishes. Jiang Ling refused, so he said that it was not right to eat and drink for free. Just as he was about to leave with the dishes, Zhou Jing'an stopped him and snatched them away.

"Go take a rest," he said.

Hu Biao turned off the engine and handed it to him obediently, watching him go into the kitchen, take over Jiang Ling's work, and wipe the dining table clean.

Several people sat on the sofa, watching TV and talking about their next plans.

Jiang Ling said: "I think we shouldn't recruit too many people at the beginning. We should try it out first, and then expand enrollment after we have figured out the business model."

The two nodded, no objection.

Zhou Jing'an asked Hu Biao what style of martial arts he learned.

Hu Biao said: "I learned a lot of different things, starting from when I was young. I first learned Muay Thai for a year, then Taekwondo for more than three years, then went to Wudang Mountain to study for two years, and finally went to Shaolin Temple. After that, I came out to make a living."

Jiang Ling smiled, "Quite multifaceted."

"I had no patience when I was a kid. I didn't want to study after a while, and then I kept changing subjects," Hu Biao said with a smile.

Zhou Jing'an nodded. "That's great. If you can combine various martial arts like this, people will be more willing to learn."

After all, martial arts like Zhou Jing'an's require a solid foundation from childhood to learn well, and the purpose of learning is to kill people. Here, there should be very little demand for such a thing.

Even if he lowered the requirements and taught students according to their aptitude, not everyone would fully accept it.

This is another reason why he chose Hu Biao.

The three of them discussed for a while and decided that Hu Biao would send out the enrollment notice, but Zhou Jing'an would still be the primary instructor. This was clearly stated. This was also done to avoid too many fans who didn't want to learn but just wanted to join in the fun.

The next day, Jiang Ling was going to work, so she asked Hu Biao to drive. The two of them took Zhou Xian, who was on summer vacation, to check out the store.

The store has two floors, but there is a room on the west side of the second floor that can be used as a bedroom or storage room. Zhou Jing'an asked Hu Biao what he thought. If he was willing to live here, he could look after the store at ordinary times. If not, Zhou Jing'an would rent a house for him nearby and pay the rent.

Hu Biao waved his hand and said that he would live here because it was economical and convenient.

Once everything was settled, the enrollment news was released, and within a few days we received a lot of feedback.

Zhou Jing'an and Hu Biao admitted 30 people according to the registration time, and divided them into two classes according to age and whether they had basic skills, with each teaching half.

Jiang Ling would go over to help when she had time. Zhou Xian was on summer vacation and they were worried about leaving him alone at home, so they followed Jiang Ling to the flower shop. Liang Bo and Mei Jin liked him very much. Jiang Ling said that she would charge less salary as the fee for Zhou Xian's stay, but the couple waved their hands to refuse.

The two loved children and thought Zhou Xian was clever and adorable, so they especially welcomed him. Sometimes they'd take him to tend to the flowers and plants. Zhou Xian was adorable and sweet, always making the old couple laugh. Sometimes Zhou Xian would go upstairs and find a little corner to sit and read, or watch Jiang Ling work, and make her laugh with some flattering words.

Zhou Jing'an and his companion had a decent start. Although the martial arts foundation of the people who came to sign up was worse than Zhou Jing'an expected, he quickly adjusted himself.

The two men divided the work. Hu Biao was responsible for teaching students with weaker foundation and younger age. The primary task was to learn martial arts skills on the basis of laying a solid foundation. Most of them were teenagers. They were naturally afraid of someone like Hu Biao who was big and had a cold face when he was not smiling, and they were easy to manage.

Zhou Jing'an teaches those who have some basic skills and want to improve their martial arts, and teaches practical techniques that are more applicable to real-life fighting.

One group focused on physical fitness and self-defense tactics, while another focused on practical combat skills. Additionally, if anyone wanted to learn weapons expertise, additional classes would be offered, taught jointly by Zhou Jing'an and Hu Biao. The three classes had different fees, and the two offered their opinions, but the choice was entirely up to the students. In the end, twenty-five people remained.

Everything was going on in an orderly manner. At the end of July, "Our Little Home" came to an end. Jiang Ling and Zhou Jing'an appeared as special guests. The one-hour special was released, which indeed caused quite a stir.

"It makes my body warm just looking at it."

"The simplicity is the truth. The two of them are like an old married couple. They feel happy even without doing anything."

"It's so sweet! How can just a casual eye contact be so sweet! Not to mention that good morning kiss! Can you kiss me for an hour?"

"Zhou Jing'an's swordplay is so cool! Oh my god! Can he do all the fighting scenes?"

"Right, right, right! Especially the exchange of eyes between when he yelled "Start" and when he put away his knife, so amazing!"

"They were both very proactive! One said he wanted to plant hydrangeas, and the other immediately took him to buy some. Another said he had found a tailor and immediately ordered three sets of clothes!"
