Chapter 237: Autumn

A dragonfly touches the water and leaves immediately.

Zhou Jingan curved his lips, smiled gently, and whispered softly: "I want to kiss you."

Jiang Ling's face suddenly turned red, and she quickly turned her head to look outside. Fortunately, those people were all entangled in a weird way, and no one noticed the two of them.

She glared at him and said, "Be more restrained."

Zhou Jing'an moved in front of her without her knowing, and the two of them were very close.

Jiang Ling's look didn't threaten him at all, he even thought it was cute.

He pretended to be aggrieved, his brows drooping, "No one saw it."

As he spoke, he unknowingly put his arms around her waist, and Jiang Ling accidentally fell into his embrace.

"It's blocked by a gauze curtain and leaves." He moved closer. "No one saw it."

Zhou Jingan was about to touch her forehead and looked at her aggrievedly, "I want to kiss you."

Jiang Ling felt like she was going crazy.

This guy is getting better and better at knowing how to soften her heart.

Or was it her fault that she always praised him for his good looks, and he just took advantage of his beauty to seduce her with this perfect face.

Zhou Jing'an accurately caught her hesitation, chuckled, and seized the opportunity to kiss her.

Jiang Ling put her hands on his chest to stop him from going any further.

But when his teeth could no longer withstand the attack and he surrendered, Jiang Ling's body became limp from the kiss, so the hand that was pressing against him loosened its strength and instead climbed onto his shoulder.

In a daze, Jiang Ling seemed to hear someone talking, and suddenly woke up and patted his shoulder.

Their breaths intertwined, and most of Jiang Ling's lip balm was kissed away, but her lips were still beautiful, so there was no need to waste any more lip balm.

"Is someone talking?" she gasped.

Zhou Jingan kissed the corners of her lips bit by bit and replied casually: "Well, Miss Wu caught some fish."

Jiang Ling looked at him, his eyes were dark, and he held her tightly, obviously not having kissed her enough.

She coughed twice and pushed him away a little, "I'll go take a look."

Zhou Jingan closed his eyes and calmed his wildly beating heart.

"Okay." He pulled her up, lifted the gauze curtain and walked out.

Wu Wanying put her hands on her hips and looked at the couples over there. They had already caught the fish, but they were still arguing with each other, one trying to persuade them and the other refusing to give in.

She calmed down, glared at them, put her hands on her hips and shouted, "Come and get the fish!"

The people nearby came to their senses and were all a little embarrassed. They quickly agreed and came over to work.

It was only then that they realized that Zhou Jing'an and Jiang Ling had disappeared.

When I turned around, I saw Zhou Jing'an carefully supporting Jiang Ling walking towards me.

Jiang Ling's eyes lit up when she saw the fish struggling in the fishing net.

"So many fish! Wanying, you're amazing!"

Wu Wanying smiled faintly, "It's not that I'm great, it's that I did it instead of just standing there stupidly."

Seeing the people working beside her with their heads down blushing, Jiang Ling laughed and winked at her, "That's because you're awesome. You have to eat the biggest fish."

Wu Wanying smiled, letting her anger go with the wind, not taking it to heart at all.

She raised an eyebrow: "Of course."

Zhou Jing'an settled Jiang Ling down and asked her to sit farther away from the charcoal fire, then he started to get busy with the other people.

He picked out two and gave them to the chef Wu Wanying brought with her, saying that he was an expert at cooking fish. He also picked out some others to grill.

At this time, several big men who insisted on coming along took the initiative to take on all the work.

Some people were processing the fish, some were adding firewood to the fire, some were skewering the fish, some were roasting the fish, and there was also a handyman.

The manager of the manor didn't dare to employ these gentlemen. Wu Wanying waved her hand, sat comfortably with her sisters, and reassured him: "Uncle Wu, don't worry about it. They are happy to do it. Just let them do it."

Coming to her farm to eat and drink for free and not wanting to work is simply shameless.

The charcoal fire is burning brightly and the aroma is gradually wafting out.

Jiang Ling took a round fan and walked over to fan Zhou Jing'an. Seeing that his eyes were squinting from the smoke, she said, "Let me fan you a little. Are you almost done?"

Zhou Jingan turned and smiled at her, "It will be ready soon."

He asked her to stay away from here, "Don't let the smoke bother you. I'm fine. Just go and rest."

Just as he was about to ask Jiang Fei to pull the stubborn Jiang Ling away, Jiang Fei came over, and the rest of the people came over and pulled Jiang Ling back.

"Well, now I can't even fan myself." Jiang Ling shook his head and sighed.

She decided not to cause them any more trouble.

The autumn weather was clear and cool, with a gentle breeze and a gurgling stream nearby. A few people gathered together to chat and laugh, while others were busy working over there. The aroma of grilled fish wafted from far away.

Jiang Ling raised the corners of her mouth as she stroked her bulging belly, listening to the loud laughter over there and the cheerful chatter over here. She felt as if she was in happiness, and no longer like a passerby who could only peek at other people's happiness and envy it secretly.

"That's great..." she sighed.
