Chapter 12 Quick Guide to the God of Elements (Twenty-Seven)

We didn't speak along the way. The night wind howled, as if whispering an ominous omen in my ears. My mind kept replaying the villagers in the village who were invaded by darkness. Their empty eyes and twisted bodies reminded me of the catastrophe that was about to come.

After returning to the castle, I immediately sent someone to invite the old wizard. Morpheus summoned all the guards in the castle to strengthen the castle's defense. The atmosphere in the entire castle suddenly became tense, and everyone's face was full of solemnity.

The old wizard came hurriedly, and after listening to my description, his expression became very solemn. "As I expected, they finally came.

"His voice was low and hoarse, with a hint of worry that was hard to conceal.

"Is there no way to stop them?" I asked anxiously.

The old wizard shook his head. "The power of darkness is far beyond your imagination. We can no longer avoid this war."

It turns out that a hundred years ago, there were hundreds of countries in this world, with diverse cultures and races, and the world's population reached 40 billion. But suddenly one day, the devil Satan came, and they transformed into huge demons to eat all humans with magic. After a hundred years of war, this elemental town was the only one left in this world. In fact, they already knew the identity of Morpheus.

"but,"

The old wizard suddenly changed the subject, "We are not without any chance of winning. The elemental realm is our home turf. As long as we unite as one and work together, we will surely be able to defeat the darkness and protect our homeland!"

The old wizard's words were sonorous and powerful, like a flame of hope ignited in the despairing night sky. I took a deep breath, clenched my fists, and looked determined.

"I will do my best to fight alongside you!"

At this moment, a guard ran into the hall in a panic, his face full of fear, "Report, report! Outside the castle... outside the castle..."

Before he could finish his words, he was interrupted by a sudden earthquake. Morpheus and I looked at each other, our faces changed suddenly, and an ominous premonition surged in our hearts.

"Oh no, they are coming!"

"Bang!"

There was a loud noise, and the whole castle seemed to tremble. I immediately rushed out of the hall, followed closely by Murphys. I saw the sky in the distance was covered by a thick black fog. The black fog was rolling, as if countless ferocious faces were struggling and roaring in it, which was creepy.

"They are coming faster than I thought!" The old wizard's voice rang out behind me, with a hint of solemnity in his tone.

"What now?"

I turned to look at the old wizard, feeling a little powerless. Facing such a powerful enemy, I doubted my own strength for the first time.

"Don't panic, we have no way out!"

Morpheus' voice was still calm, as if everything was under her control. "Call all the generals immediately and hold a meeting in the meeting hall!"

Soon, all the generals in the castle gathered in the meeting hall. Everyone's face was filled with solemnity, and the atmosphere was so oppressive that it was suffocating.

"Everyone,"

Morpheus glanced at everyone and said in a deep voice, "Satan's forces are already at the gates of our city. We must unite as one to protect our homeland!"

"But we are no match for them!"

A burly general couldn't help but speak, his tone full of despair.

"Yes, the power of darkness is far beyond our imagination."

"Old wizard, stop keeping us in suspense and tell us what you have to say!" another general said anxiously.

"According to the prophecy, there will be a child from outer space who will defeat Satan!" the old wizard said firmly, "This person is Feng Ziang!"

"I"

"The prophecy of the God of Elements will not lie. Morpheus is no longer alive. We have been waiting for you."

I frowned slightly, "But can I really do it?"

“You can do it”

Morpheus held my head and kissed me, saying, "The devil will eventually be defeated by the children of God!"

"Thank you" Morpheus kissed me and made me dizzy

"There is no time to lose, let's act immediately!" Morpheus said, turning to look at the old wizard, "I'll leave the castle to you."

"Don't worry, leave this to me." The old wizard nodded with a firm look.

I took a deep breath and looked at Morpheus. We could both see the trust and hope in each other's eyes.

"Let's go!" Morpheus said, and took the lead to walk out of the meeting room.

I followed him closely, feeling heavy and uneasy in my heart. I knew that a great war was about to begin, and I had been dragged into the vortex of this war involuntarily.

I rode the strongest horse in the castle and galloped all the way to the Elemental Town. The whistling wind passed by my ears, lifted the corners of my clothes, and blew away the uneasiness in my heart.

I must succeed, I must convince Alice and Weasley to increase my chances of winning the coming war.

Morpheus and I agreed to meet at the temple in the town, which is our common place of faith and also the starting point of our agreement. I looked at the setting sun in the sky and prayed silently in my heart, hoping that everything would go well.

The Elemental Town was more prosperous than I had imagined. Various elemental powers intertwined here, forming a fantastic scene. I found out that Alice and Weasley were staying at an inn called "Hope", so I walked straight in.

"Excuse me, are Morrow and Ladis here?" I asked the shop owner.

"You are..." The shop owner looked me up and down, his eyes full of doubts.

"I'm a friend of Morpheus, and I have something important to discuss with them," I said straight to the point.

"Morfeas?" The shop owner's face changed slightly when he heard the name. "Please wait a moment."

He turned and walked into the inner hall, and soon came out with two people. One of them was a tall woman with long fiery red hair like burning flames, a pair of piercing green eyes, and a strong fire elemental power emanating from her body. She must be Lettice.

Next to her stood a burly man with short golden hair, sharp eyes, and a powerful force of thunder and lightning emanating from his body. He should be Morlo.

"What do you want from us?" Lettice asked in a cold tone with a hint of vigilance.

I took a deep breath and told them in detail about the invasion of the dark forces, Morpheus's trip to other castles to seek help, and the purpose of my visit.

"What? Satan?" Wesley's face changed. "How is this possible?"

"The town's defenses, a barrier built by the most powerful magicians from the twelve countries who sacrificed their lives, have been breached in just a few decades."

"But this is the situation now. People who are demonized will devour their own kind, right?"

Laedis and Moro looked at each other, their eyes filled with shock and hesitation.

"I know this is sudden, but..." I was about to continue persuading her, but was interrupted by Letty.

"Why should we believe you?" Ladis said coldly, "How can you make us believe that you are not a spy of Satan's forces?"

"I can prove it!" I said, taking out the token Morpheus had given me.

"This is the family emblem of Morpheus, with the mark of the God of Elements on it!"

Ledis took the badge and examined it carefully, then his expression eased a little.

"Morpheus, the human form of the elemental god"
