That night, when Xu Keke went to sleep, she found that there was someone else in her room.
"Are you afraid I'll run away?"
Zhou Heng ignored her and took off his coat in front of her, revealing his muscular physique. Xu Keke almost whistled.
Zhou Heng glared at her, changed into his pajamas, and lay down on the bed. Xu Keke walked to the bedside, looking around in confusion.
"What do you mean? You're not letting me stay in this room? Because I don't have money, I can only stay in the guest room?"
"There are no guest rooms available now." Zhou Heng crossed his arms behind his head, looking at her leisurely. His expression was somewhat infuriating.
"Is that the servants' quarters?" Xu Keke asked tentatively again.
"Go to bed!" Zhou Heng said to her, enunciating each word clearly.
"Isn't that inappropriate?"
Xu Keke took a half step back, but Zhou Heng stretched out his long arm and pulled her onto the bed. With another pull, she rolled into his arms.
"What's inappropriate about it? You know, in the game, I'm the one who ends up marrying you." Zhou Heng said domineeringly, and seeing that Xu Keke was still trying to move, he stopped her. "Don't move. Didn't you want Huang Pinjia and Zhang Man to be together for life?"
"Yes, what's wrong?"
Seeing that she had become obedient, Zhou Heng pulled her closer to him. "If I don't help you, remember this: if I don't help you, Huang Pinjia might be abandoned by Zhang Man right now."
"How could this be?" Xu Keke was about to get up and look at him when Zhou Heng stretched out his long leg and pressed her down.
"Of course he would. I have the evidence of Huang Pinjia's embezzlement. His image has been damaged. Do you think Zhang Man will continue to drag things out with him?"
Of course not. Zhang Man stole him away simply to prove she was better than herself. She had Huang Pinjia elected as the head of the executive department so she could slap herself in the face and prove that the man had become more outstanding under her control. If Huang Pinjia were completely useless, given Zhang Man's character, she would replace him immediately.
Xu Keke understood this, of course. "Then what's your solution?"
“If I help you destroy the evidence, they will think that you assigned me to do it for him, and the credit will be given to you. Zhang Man will think that you still have feelings for Huang Pinjia, and will definitely hold on to Huang Pinjia no matter what.”
"This method works."

"Repay me with your body."

Zhou Heng slapped her, making Xu Keke furious and embarrassed. "What are you doing!"
"Hmph, you're penniless now, and you're not some major general anymore. You haven't even paid my salary, yet you still dare to provoke me. Let me tell you, if you behave yourself now, I'll let you stay here. I'll let you sleep in this bed and provide for you, otherwise..."
Seeing his increasingly cowardly demeanor, Xu Keke laughed out loud, "What else? Otherwise, you won't serve me anymore."
"Yes, I want you to serve me."
Zhou Heng flipped her over and pinned her down completely, and then the room was filled with the warmth of spring.
Xu Keke lay weakly on the bed, while Zhou Heng, who was holding her, had a gleam in his eyes and looked completely satisfied.
Why did you choose Huang Pinjia in the first place? Was it just because he's good-looking?

"Why are you still angry?"

Xu Keke nestled into Zhou Heng's arms, took his hand, and said softly, "When they arrived, I happened to be in the garden downstairs. The people who brought him were his elders. They surrounded him and threatened him, saying that if he wasn't chosen by me, he would be punished. After they left, he cried in the garden."
He was terrified. So when I walked in, I recognized him immediately—the poor, threatened man. There were many people far superior to him that day. Their character was far better, their knowledge, intelligence, and emotional intelligence far surpassed his.
It was probably a protective instinct. Back then, I just wanted to protect him, just like I've done all these years. I kept him by my side, but not out of equal love.
In a sense, I'm actually the bad girl.
I didn't develop any feelings for him. I treated him like a pet, playing with him when I was in a good mood, buying him nice clothes to dress him up, and giving him money to spend. I enjoyed watching him occasionally act silly.
So I don't care that he's with Zhang Man. In matters of the heart, we're on equal footing. Since neither of us loves the other, there's no question of betrayal.
Zhou Heng asked in bewilderment, "Then why do you still want to tie Zhang Man to him?"
"Nonsense, I'm not a saint either. It's one thing for him to be with Zhang Man. But Zhang Man instigated me and set a trap for me, making me mistakenly believe that he was injured. I almost lost my life trying to save him. You think you can just let this go like this? No way."
Besides, I've raised him for so many years; it wouldn't be right to just let him die. With his abilities, it's good for him to be with Zhang Man. Zhang Man wants to learn everything from me, and she'll treat him with all her heart.
