Chapter 21 President, You Can't Eat That Second Male Lead (20)

Xi Junyan's icy gaze fell on Bian Yiheng, and he asked coldly, "Who is he?"

Before Bian Yiheng could speak, Yi Mu introduced Xi Junyan to him: "This is my cousin, he's staying here temporarily."

Then, glancing at Bian Yiheng, he said to Xi Junyan, "This is Bian Yiheng, an actor from the film crew."

He paused for a moment, then emphasized, "Colleague, come over for dinner."

Bian Yiheng wasn't sure if it was just his imagination, but he felt that Yi Mu's words carried a sense of caution.

Although he received an explanation, Xi Junyan was still a little annoyed. He didn't look at Bian Yiheng again, took the bags from Yi Mu, and turned to go into the house.

Yi Mu beckoned Bian Yiheng to walk inside.

Yi Mu doesn't like others helping him cook. He washed some fruit and put it in the living room, turned on the TV, and then went into the kitchen.

Nishi Junyan is like a human iceberg, exuding a captivating aura.

Bian Yiheng, who was usually at ease with international directors and well-known producers, felt awkward and unsure of how to express himself while sitting next to his powerful cousin.

He struggled to find his words, coughed, and chuckled as he took the initiative to speak: "I always felt that you looked a lot like a big shot, cousin, the young master of the Xi family, Xi Junyan, who was once a prominent figure in our circle."

Xi Junyan frowned and retorted bluntly, "Who is your cousin?"

Bian Yiheng, who had never been ridiculed like this before, looked rather unpleasant. He was born into a wealthy family and only entered this circle as a hobby.

Having designs on Yi Mu doesn't mean he'll swallow his pride.

Born into a wealthy family, he looks down on everyone except those in his own circle.

Although Yi Mu's cousin looks imposing, the clothes he wears and the cigarettes he smokes are very cheap.

Most importantly, a grown man with nowhere to live had to come and seek refuge with Yimu.

Bian Yiheng smiled dismissively and said casually, "It's really heartbreaking to see Teacher Yi being bullied by newcomers on set."

Xi Junyan finally turned his gaze to him, a sharp glint in his eyes, his tone carrying a chilling question: "Who dares to bully him?"

Bian Yiheng glanced at the kitchen and lowered his voice: "The second male lead in the crew is a self-funded actor who always asks for more screen time. The teacher has been on set all day revising the script, and the director hasn't said a word."

He paused, his tone bitter: "Unfortunately, I'm just a small-time actor and can't speak up for the teacher."

Yi Mu came out carrying the dishes and saw that Xi Junyan was surrounded by a violent aura, his jawline was taut, and he looked like he wanted to take a knife and go out to chop someone up.

He wondered who had angered the young master this time, and invited them to sit down for dinner.

Yi Mu's cooking was impeccable, which made Bian Yiheng even more interested in him.

After the meal, Bian Yiheng tried to linger, but Xi Junyan grabbed him by the neck and threw him out without any politeness.

With only the two of them left, Xi Junyan pressed Yi Mu down on the sofa and asked him in a deep voice how he had been mistreated on set, and he told him everything in detail.

Yi Mu never talked to Xi Junyan about work. He frowned, feeling disgusted by Bian Yiheng's meddlesome behavior.

"It's nothing."

He pushed away Xi Junyan who was pressing down on him, his tone devoid of emotion.

"It's normal for screenwriters to revise scripts. Besides, with my personality, how could I let others bully me?"

The second male lead did make things difficult for Yi Mu, but it was all minor and he didn't take it to heart at all.
