Chapter 13 Bus Route 13

Bai Xueer huddled in the corner, staring in horror at Su Jinyan, who was tangled in hair in front of her. Suddenly, a muffled thud rang out, followed by a thud as something fell to the ground not far from her.

Bai Xueer looked at the object on the ground with surprise—it was a lighter!

She had just seen what was happening over Xia Linyin's side; this hair was afraid of fire!

Seeing the hair begin to bypass Su Jinyan and rush towards her, Bai Xueer mustered her courage and lunged at the lighter. The cool, slippery strands of hair wrapped around her ankle.

"Ahhh!" Bai Xueer screamed and frantically shook her foot. Fortunately, she remembered that she had a lighter in her hand, so she quickly lit the lighter and brought it close to her ankle.

After brushing the hair off her feet, Bai Xueer took a few deep breaths and rushed towards Su Jinyan, "Jinyan, don't be afraid! I'm here to save you!"

Her chest ached, and her palms hurt even more. Xia Linyin pushed herself up from the ground, her whole body covered in blood, some of it her own and some of others'.

Blood was still dripping from her wavy hair, staining it from the pool of blood on the ground.

The lighter had already slipped from her hand and flown to the back of the carriage, where it was now picked up by Bai Xueer. It seemed that Bai Xueer knew that Xia Linyin no longer had anything that could threaten her, and the female ghost's hair attacked Xia Linyin again.

Xia Linyin ducked and rolled away from the female ghost's hair, then lunged at the middle-aged woman's corpse.

The hair dodged Xia Linyin's attack, then twirled in mid-air before chasing after her. With a "whoosh," it wrapped around Xia Linyin's calf, the tightening force causing the strands of hair to dig into her flesh.

Like thin steel wires slowly cutting into Xia Linyin's flesh, bright red blood seeped out, staining the female ghost's hair red.

Biting her lip, Xia Linyin pried the lighter out of the middle-aged woman's hand and turned to burn her hair.

After being burned by the flames, the strands of hair twisted and shrank like thin worms, turning into ashes in the fire.

"Ah!" With a sharp scream, the female ghost pulled back the rest of her hair.

Even though her face was covered by thick hair, Xia Linyin could still feel a pair of extremely sinister eyes staring at her from behind the hair.

Fortunately, at the crucial moment she remembered that the middle-aged woman who was smoking had a lighter.

Otherwise, she would have been dead just now!

Holding a high heel in one hand and a lighter in the other, Xia Linyin looked at the female ghost without fear. Now it was either the female ghost who would be destroyed or they would die. Having stepped halfway into the gates of hell time and time again, if a person had any sense of justice, Xia Linyin's sense of justice had been aroused.

She's completely ready to fight to the death right now!

Strands of her wet, blood-stained hair hung down on either side of her face. Xia Linyin's face was covered in crimson blood, and her eyes gleamed with ruthlessness.

The female ghost jumped down from the roof of the carriage, her fingernails suddenly growing longer and scratching across the ground, making a sound like fingernails scratching a blackboard, which gave everyone goosebumps.

The ground was left with several deep marks after the female ghost's fingernails scratched it. It is conceivable that the fingernails would scratch a person like an iron rake, scraping off a thick layer of skin and flesh.

"Click—click—"

The female ghost twisted her neck and leaped up, pouncing towards Xia Linyin!

A beam of blood-red light suddenly shone on the female ghost. Su Jinyan held the baton, and this light was more dazzling than the previous ones he had shot out.

"Quick! I can only hold her in place for twenty seconds!" Su Jinyan shouted to Xia Linyin, as he had no hope for Bai Xueer.

Xia Linyin immediately understood. She rushed towards the female ghost, who screamed shrilly, a sound so piercing it made one's head ache.

Blood trickled from Xia Linyin's ears, but she paid no heed to it, her gaze fixed on the female ghost's stomach.

The porcelain doll pierced the girl's stomach and crawled inside, turning the long-haired girl into a puppet-like female ghost.

Now, the porcelain doll hidden inside the girl's stomach stares intently at Xia Linyin through the cut.

Although the eyes were drawn, their slender shape carried a silent warning.

It was warning Xia Linyin, it was intimidating Xia Linyin, with its malicious and chilling eyes.

"Ah!" Xia Linyin screamed, and smashed the weapon into the female ghost's stomach with a fierce look.

One, two, three...

The sharp heels of the high heels pounded on the female ghost's stomach again and again!

"Die! Die! Die!"

As if to vent all her emotions, Xia Linyin pounded heavily on the female ghost's stomach, quickly and fiercely. She didn't know how many times she pounded it. In the end, she was like a madwoman, tirelessly smashing the already mangled flesh beneath her.

A hand with distinct knuckles accurately grasped Xia Linyin's constantly moving wrist. The grip on her wrist was not heavy, yet it was as unshakeable as an iron clamp.

Tears mingled with the blood on Xia Linyin's face as she looked up at the man in the black jacket holding her wrist, her face seemingly blank.

They were completely lost, not knowing who they were or what they were doing.

The handsome man extended his long, slender fingers with jade-like knuckles and wiped away the tears streaming from the corners of her eyes.

Xia Linyin trembled, blinked, and looked down at the corpse in front of her.

She had smashed the corpse's stomach to pieces, splattering flesh all over her. The ceramic doll inside was shattered into countless pieces, its blood mixed with the mangled flesh.

"Ugh—" With just one glance, Bai Xue'er couldn't help but vomit violently, her stomach churning so badly that she even vomited bile.

It's over, finally over.

She survived.

Xia Linyin collapsed to the ground as if all her strength had been released, a wave of dizziness washed over her, and then she could no longer hold on and fell into darkness.
