Chapter 107 A Brilliant Future (26)

Lin Han naturally knew that the reason her mother wasn't telling the truth was because she was afraid of worrying her.

So he simply agreed, chatted briefly, and then hung up the phone.

"What's wrong? Are you homesick?" Fu Zhenghang asked after Lin Han hung up the phone.

"They're alright, I'm just concerned about their health," Lin Han replied to Fu Zhenghang after putting her phone away.

As for other people's family affairs, Fu Zhenghang didn't want to pry too much, so he decisively fell silent and leaned against the window to close his eyes and rest.

"Driver, could you pull over to the side of the road for a moment? I need to buy something," Lin Han said to the driver, glancing at the shops flashing by.

After the driver acknowledged, he found a place to park and let Lin Han get off.

Fu Zhenghang saw Lin Han asking for the car and politely asked her what she wanted to do, but Lin Han said that it was a secret and she wouldn't tell him yet.

So he didn't press the matter further and waited quietly in the car for Lin Han to return.

Lin Han, who got off the bus halfway, went to a store and bought some basic necessities, such as paint and ketchup.

After buying the items, she quickly paid and jogged back to her car.

"Why did you buy ketchup?" Fu Zhenghang asked curiously as Lin Han took a bottle of ketchup out of the bag.

"I'm going to eat this with fries," Lin Han replied casually, then told the driver to start the car and continue driving towards the hotel.

Back at the hotel, Lin Han grabbed her things and hurriedly went back to her room.

Fu Zhenghang was left to walk slowly behind.

Every day after that, Lin Han stayed by Fu Zhenghang's side, watching him film.

Even Lin Han, who had special feelings for him, felt an urge to beat him up on the spot after watching his performance.

Looking at Fu Zhenghang, who stirred up trouble between the male and female leads and then betrayed the male lead, Lin Han suddenly felt like punching him.

"Fu Zhenghang's acting is really good, so good that I can't help but hate him." Lin Han sighed as she watched the group of people acting.

Lin Han wasn't the only one with this feeling; the staff who witnessed the filming also hated the character played by Fu Zhenghang.

He had just finished filming when the director yelled "Cut!" and praised him generously, saying, "Not bad, not bad. You brought the character to life. I even wanted to rush up and beat you up."

Several cameramen around nodded in agreement.

He scratched his head sheepishly, said some polite words, and then followed Lin Han back to their resting place.

"You were born with a natural talent; your acting is so lifelike!" Lin Han said, hovering around him without stopping.

Fu Zhenghang just smiled and watched her, letting her praise him in various ways. He would only say a few words to her when she got tired, to ease her throat.

"Are you tired? Here, have some water." Fu Zhenghang thoughtfully handed Lin Han a drink.

Lin Han was feeling thirsty, so she took the cup and downed half of it without hesitation. Then she started talking about it with great relish.

Throughout the entire process, Fu Zhenghang was an excellent listener, constantly embracing different thoughts and ideas.

Gradually, Lin Han stopped talking after realizing that a lot of time had passed, and only told him to take a nap so that he could be ready for the afternoon's filming.

Fu Zhenghang obediently did as instructed, covering his head with his coat and falling asleep on the table.
