Chapter 47: Educated Youth Sent Down to the Countryside (46)

Lin Qian sneered and said, "Zhao Yu, your so-called innocence and kindness are nothing but wishful thinking. You don't understand Su Yao at all. She's been blinded by jealousy and desire. She's capable of anything for her own benefit!"

Zhao Yu remained silent for a while, still unwilling to believe Lin Qian's words. He said, "Lin Qian, I think there might be a misunderstanding here. I still need to ask Su Yao to clarify things."

After Zhao Yu left, Lin Qian kept having 003 broadcast his and Su Yao's affairs to her.

In the scene, Zhao Yu is with Su Yao, who still appears somewhat frail and helpless.

Watching the live stream, Lin Qian couldn't help but tease, "Zhao Yu is such a Casanova, he's really devoted to Su Yao."

003 responded, "That's right, look at how nervous he is, it's like Su Yao is his whole world."

Lin Qian snorted coldly: "Hmph, he trusts Su Yao that much? Doesn't he even remember what happened before?"

003 said, "Perhaps in his heart, Su Yao is still that innocent girl from when she was a child."

Lin Qian said dismissively, "He's really naive. Su Yao has changed a long time ago, but he still can't see it."

003 asked, "Do you think Zhao Yu will eventually discover Su Yao's true colors?"

Lin Qian shrugged: "Who knows? Maybe he'll stay in the dark with Su Yao forever, which would be hilarious."

003 said, "However, if this continues, Zhao Yu may suffer great harm."

A complex emotion flashed in Lin Qian's eyes: "That was his own choice, he can't blame anyone else."

003 sighed: "I hope he can wake up soon."

Lin Qian watched the live stream and smiled sarcastically: "Just wait and see how long he can hold out."

After being ruthlessly kicked out of the educated youth settlement by Zhao Yu, the matchmaker was consumed by rage. Gritting her teeth, she turned and headed straight for Wang Qiang's house with a face full of resentment. As soon as she saw Wang Qiang's mother, the matchmaker began to embellish her experience at the educated youth settlement.

Upon hearing this, Wang Qiang's mother turned pale with anger, her eyes wide with fury. After seeing the matchmaker off, she couldn't wait to go to several acquaintances' homes, sobbing and telling them about the incident. Those people, upon hearing this, also became indignant.

The next day, Wang Qiang's mother arrived at the educated youth settlement with a group of villagers, looking very aggressive. She plopped down on the ground and began shouting, "Su Yao, my Wang Qiang saved your life! You have to repay him, so marry him! Our family will definitely treat you well!" She waved her arms as she spoke, determined to get what she wanted.

"Besides, my Wang Qiang touched and hugged her to save her. And Su Yao was kissed and hugged by Zhao Yu, and we didn't mind. What more does she want?" Wang Qiang's mother continued to argue unreasonably, her voice sharp and grating.

The educated youth settlement was in complete chaos, with shouts and arguments mingling together, truly a complete mess. Just as the commotion reached its peak, the village chief and the brigade leader rushed over.

When the village chief arrived at the scene and saw the chaos, he was so angry that his face turned red and the veins on his forehead bulged. He glared at Wang Qiang's mother, who was still throwing a tantrum, and shouted, "Wang Qiang's mother, stop making a scene!" His voice was as loud as a bell, and it was especially loud in the noisy environment.

The captain also looked stern, his brows furrowed, his eyes revealing severity and displeasure. He looked at Wang Qiang's mother and said in a heavy tone, "Can't you talk things out properly? What kind of nonsense is this!"

However, Wang Qiang's mother paid no heed to the words of the village chief and the brigade leader. She remained lying on the ground, crying and waving her arms, shouting, "My Wang Qiang saved her, so she has to marry my Wang Qiang!" Her face was full of arrogance and unreasonableness, completely unaware of how excessive her behavior was.

Wang Qiang's mother was causing a huge scene at the educated youth settlement, while Lin Qian stood at a distance, watching the farce with a cold expression.

Lin Qian whispered to 003, "Look, Wang Qiang's mother is really making a fuss. Luckily, we knew about Su Yao's plan in advance, otherwise we would be the ones being pestered now."

003 responded, "Yes, Su Yao is really ruthless. She will use any means to achieve her goals."

Lin Qian sneered: "She thinks she can do anything to me like this? She's delusional."

003 said, "But she's probably done this out of desperation."

Lin Qian looked at Su Yao with a hint of disdain in her eyes: "That's all she's capable of. She thinks she can succeed by using these underhanded methods."

003 said with some concern, "Then we have to be careful. Who knows what tricks Su Yao might come up with to deal with us."

Lin Qian said confidently, "What's there to be afraid of? I'll block her every time she comes. I want to see what tricks she can pull."

Just then, Su Yao saw Lin Qian in the distance. She quickly lowered her head, trying to hide the ruthlessness in her eyes.

Lin Qian noticed Su Yao's gaze and whispered to 003, "Look at Su Yao's eyes, it's like she wants to devour me whole."

003 said, "She was furious; she didn't expect her plan to not work out completely."

Lin Qian smiled sarcastically: "Su Yao, you've ruined me like this, I won't let you get away with this. We'll see."

Su Yao stood to the side, watching the chaotic scene, feeling a deep sorrow in her heart. Her face grew paler and paler, her eyes filled with despair and helplessness. Her body trembled uncontrollably, like a leaf falling in the cold wind. She bit her lip, trying to remain calm, but the fear and grievances in her heart were almost unbearable.
