Their conversation had veered from abstract language to philosophical debate.
"Love at first sight is the reason."
Shen Yulou clutched his chest, shook his head, and closed his eyes in pain, his brows furrowed.
It seems so unforgettable.
Chi Yuan didn't know what it was that he couldn't forget.
"How could I have made you fall in love at first sight at that banquet? You remember how much I hated you."
Shen Yulou pulled hard again, and Chi Yuan staggered forward several times.
"That's how fate works; I was destined to be attracted to you."
Chi Yuan felt increasingly uneasy and suspicious.
"So you kicked my butt and stole my baby because you fell in love with me at first sight? You wanted to get my attention."
