Fang Qingyang sized up Shen Bei for a moment before tentatively asking, "Why are you looking for him?"
What I was thinking was, what good could come from a ghost hunter looking for a ghost?
Could it be that he realized the annoying ghost was actually a ghost?
Fang Qingyang unconsciously clenched his fist.
Shen Bei looked around and saw that there weren't many people here and no one was paying attention to their table. He then leaned over and whispered, "I felt a special aura about him last time. I want to ask him out to find out if I was just imagining things."
After all, the last time was in the back mountain, a place with a gloomy atmosphere, so it's possible that my intuition was wrong.
Fang Qingyang's expression remained unchanged as he asked in a low voice, "What kind of aura is that special aura?"
Shen Fang took a sip of coffee. "Ghosts, ah. Ghosts have a lot of yin energy on them. If you get too close, you'll feel uncomfortable. We've been trained since childhood to be very sensitive to that kind of energy."
Fang Qingyang understood that Shen Bei was questioning the identity of the annoying ghost. As for the special aura he mentioned, he felt nothing at all. On the contrary, he felt comfortable being with the annoying ghost.
"Impossible. You must have been mistaken because you weren't fully awake that day. Think about it, have you ever seen such a handsome ghost?"
Shen Bei thought for a moment and nodded, "I have never seen such a handsome ghost. Even high-level ghosts have bluish-white skin, not such fair and rosy skin."
After a pause, he said, "But why was he in the back mountain that day? Most people who go there will either die or be badly injured, but he seemed perfectly fine."
Fang Qingyang's eyes flickered, he picked up his coffee and took a sip before speaking, "That day, when we suddenly fainted in your old family ancestral hall, he rushed over to save me."
Right, what was that annoying guy doing on the back mountain that day? Could it be that he really went to save me? But that doesn't make sense, how did he know I was unconscious?
Shen Bei asked blankly, "How did he know you were unconscious?"
"He installed a tracking device on my phone."
Fang Qingyang was seriously trying to fool people.
Shen Bei's gaze towards Fang Qingyang began to change, his face full of gossip. "Dude, tell me quietly, what's your relationship with Fang Qingyang?"
Fang Qingyang glanced at him, then put his hand to his lips. "Cough, what could it possibly have to do with anything?"
Shen Bei raised an eyebrow and said with a grin, "Judging from your expression, something's definitely up."
Fang Qingyang stood up as if to leave, "You asked me out today just to talk about this nonsense? Is there anything else? If not, I'm leaving."
Shen Bei grabbed his hand again, preventing him from leaving, and the two sat down again.
"Why are you in such a hurry to leave? Men shouldn't take things too seriously. Just have fun, but we still need to get married and have children."
Fang Qingyang's face darkened, and he glanced at Chen Bei. "It's important business."
Shen Bei pursed his lips and said, "It's still your friend."
Fang Qingyang slammed his hand on the table. "Are you ever going to stop? Why are you staring at him like that?"
Shen Bei looked aggrieved. "I wasn't staring at him; I needed him."
Fang Qingyang gave him a cold look.
"Here's the thing, last time I mentioned that there was something strange about the old house and ancestral hall, so I dragged you along to check it out. I wanted to ask your friend to help investigate, he seemed quite capable last time."
After saying that, she looked at Fang Qingyang expectantly, hoping he would agree to help her make the contact.
Fang Qingyang's face darkened even more after hearing this. "You doubt his identity on one hand, and you still want to ask him for help on the other. Just how thick-skinned do you think you are?"
After saying that, he ignored Shen Bei and walked away.
