The next day,
The Duchess asked them to come over; she had something to say to them.
Luo Xi was halfway there when she encountered the Crown Prince's wife. She smiled and walked over, saying, "Sister-in-law."
The Crown Prince's wife responded and walked side by side with Luo Xi. After a while, she looked around and, seeing that there was no one, moved closer to Luo Xi and whispered, "Second sister-in-law, do you know why Mother asked us to come over today?"
Luo Xi shook her head slightly. "I don't know."
The Crown Prince's wife sighed, "I heard that the Emperor intends for my third brother to marry the Fifth Princess."
Luo Xi asked in surprise, "The Fifth Princess is a legitimate princess, why is the Emperor doing this?"

Shen Chi immediately spotted Luo Xi, who stood out in the crowd, and smiled at her. Afterward, he spoke with the Duke and Duchess for a while.
A quarter of an hour later, he told the others that he needed to take a bath first. The Duchess told him to hurry up.
Shen Chi strode up to Luo Xi, but he didn't hug her because he knew Luo Xi was clean.
Shen Chi looked at Luo Xi's face and smiled foolishly, "Xi Xi, I'm back. Did you miss me?"
Luo Xi's lips curled up slightly. "I've thought about it."
She took Chen Chi's hand and led him into their courtyard.
As they walked, Shen Chi kept talking to Luo Xi about what he had encountered at the border.
Suddenly, Shen Chi leaned closer to her and whispered, "Oh, by the way, on our way back to the capital, we met an injured orphan girl. General Li seems to have taken a fancy to her, and he brought her back to his mansion."
Luo Xi glanced at Chen Chi. "What? Are you envious? Do you want to bring one back too?"
Upon hearing this, Shen Chi hurriedly replied, "No, no, I'm not envious at all."
He shook Luo Xi's hand, "Madam, believe me, I only love you."
Luo Xi: "Yes, I believe you."

After taking a shower, Shen Chi went outside and hugged Luo Xi on his lap.
He buried his face in Luo Xi's neck and kissed her repeatedly, his breath hot. "Madam, I feel unwell."
Luo Xi was slightly out of breath. "We'll talk about it tonight. I have to have dinner with my father and mother later."
Shen Chi: "No, Madam, I can't hold back any longer."
It's fine when I don't see her, but I can't stand it when I do.
