One sentence made Hu Weimin's expression turn somewhat strange.
Hu Shi really wanted to kneel down before Pei Zhi. Did she even know what she was saying?
What do you mean by "instant rapport"? You can't just say things like that.
"I never imagined that I would be his aunt. It seems like it was all fate."
Hu Weimin immediately laughed and said, "Yes, we're all relatives, so it's natural to feel warm and friendly when we meet."

Hu Shih was speechless: "Old Hu, I only have one cell phone number. I can't call him every day, can I?"
Hu Weimin thought about it and agreed. If Hu Shi really did that, Xie Ci Nian would be annoyed to death first.
"Then take good care of your aunt on set and try to get closer to her. I think they have a good relationship."
This made Hu Shi quite interested.

Listening to his father's words, Hu Shi pondered them carefully and they seemed to make some sense.
At the dinner table, everyone is focused on eating; who would be watching what food is on someone else's plate?
"Besides, your uncle is thirty years old this year and still doesn't have a child. What else could this be but true love?"
Hu Shi felt a chill run down his spine; Pei Zhi had ruined him.
The situation is not at all as Pei Zhi described, such as a couple in name only or a couple by agreement.
"Besides, look at all these wealthy wives in the industry, how many of them are married and still able to act?"
Hu Shi was completely convinced by his father, and Pei Zhi misled him.
"So you should try to please Pei Zhi and get along with her. Your good days are ahead."
Hu Weimin never expected that he would be so opposed to his son entering the entertainment industry.
Now he even has to rely on his son to pull strings for him.
Hu Shi's expression was worse than crying. "If my relationship with my aunt were any better, I'm afraid you wouldn't be able to see me anymore."
Pei Zhi is too dangerous, and she has too many secrets.

Pei Zhi raised an eyebrow. "We're discussing the script."
Hu Shi pretended not to see Chi Xiuwen's gaze and said, "Can I join you? It's an ensemble piece anyway."
Chi Xiuwen hadn't seen Pei Zhi for several days.
The film crew has suspended filming, and Pei Zhi seems to have disappeared. There's a time lag between when you send her a message and when she replies.
They finally met, but before they could even exchange a few words, Hu Shih interrupted them.
If Hu Shi hadn't known, he would have let go of his relationship with Pei Zhi.
Hu Shih clearly knew what was going on, yet he still came to bother the two of them. What was he thinking?
At first, Chi Hsiu-wen genuinely thought that Hu Shih wanted to discuss the plot.
During the intermission, Hu Shih was also sandwiched between the two of them.
Even at lunchtime, when Chi Xiuwen and Pei Zhi were eating in the dressing room, Hu Shi came over and said he wanted to eat together to make it more lively.
Throughout the entire day, Chi Xiuwen didn't even manage to exchange two words with Pei Zhi alone.
Once the filming was over, everyone went back to the hotel in twos and threes to rest.
The artists all stayed in hotels near the film crew's location, mostly on the same floor.
Pei Zhi finished her scenes early today, so she left first.
