Mu Wenxi reached out and pressed his hand against the glass: "Do you want to come with me? Do you want to run away with me?"
She repeated the mouthing gestures several times, as if afraid the beast inside wouldn't hear or see them.
"I'm here to save you, come with me."
"My name is Mu Wenxi, and I am one of your kind. I want to rescue you. Do you want to come with me?"
The beast, which had been quietly staring at Mu Wenxi, suddenly stretched out its front paws and pressed them against the glass.
Mu Wenxi was overjoyed: "He agreed, how do we take him out?"
Little A: "Wait a minute, let me find a prop. Ta-da, the penetrating ring."
Mu Wenxi: "What is this?"
A: "It can penetrate anything. You just need to put it on glass, and the glass inside the ring will disappear."
Mu Wenxi took the penetrating ring and placed it on the glass in front of him, and a large part of the glass immediately disappeared.
The beast inside the glass seemed startled and took a step back instantly. Soon, it stretched out its paw and cautiously touched the spot where it had been, as if wondering why the glass had suddenly disappeared.

The beast tentatively sniffed Mu Wenxi's scent, then jumped onto her hand and hugged her arm. Mu Wenxi immediately pulled him into her embrace.
Mu Wenxi stroked the beast's body: "I will transform into someone else's appearance later, so please don't be afraid of me."
After saying that, she immediately transformed into the man from before, picked up the beast, and walked out. Perhaps because the scent hadn't changed, the beast wasn't afraid; instead, it moved even closer to her.
Little A continued to guide Mu Wenxi, but soon discovered the anomaly because someone would patrol regularly. The person rubbed his eyes at first, but soon realized that the things inside the glass room were indeed gone, and immediately took out a walkie-talkie.
"Emergency situation! Experiment S9035 has disappeared! Experiment S9035 has disappeared!"
"All guards shall immediately conduct an emergency patrol. I repeat, all guards shall immediately conduct an emergency patrol."
In a laboratory, someone rushed in.
The old man conducting the experiment: "What? You're saying that experimental subject S9035 has disappeared?"

Inside a glass box not far away was a strange-looking creature that resembled a jellyfish.
At this moment, Mu Wenxi was carrying Qin Lun and flying away quickly, changing into other people's appearances from time to time. They were almost at the underground parking garage.
The group at the experimental base identified all the suspicious individuals on the surveillance footage, only to discover that none of them had ever been to the eighth basement level. The leader noticed something odd about the situation, but he quickly figured it out.
"Damn it, which superhuman did this?"
"Find it for me, I refuse to believe I can't find it. Block all the exits, don't let any car out."
Mu Wenxi estimated that if she went out now, she would be riddled with bullets. She went to a corner of the garage to observe secretly and found that a scrap yard worker was transporting a body to a car.
With a heavy heart, Mu Wenxi slipped onto the transport vehicle while the junkyard worker was dragging the body. He then transformed himself into a corpse and placed another corpse on top of him. Qin Lun hid under the seat next to Mu Wenxi, and with the corpse blocking the way, he was virtually undetectable.
Mu Wenxi waited silently for the scrap yard worker to start the car, while Qin Lun next to her was getting restless. Mu Wenxi whispered, "We'll escape soon. Let's hide here for a bit and don't make a sound, okay?"
Qin Lun could recognize Mu Wenxi's scent, and immediately quieted down upon hearing the familiar voice.
Soon the wrecker moved the last body to the trunk, closed the trunk door, got into the driver's seat, and another person got into the passenger seat. The car slowly drove away.
"All personnel screening is complete, but the disposal specialist, Zhang Ning, is missing."
Where did he go?
"The surveillance footage shows that he disappeared shortly after leaving the room."
Soon the man in yellow boots and the man in black hat were taken into the interrogation room.
Where is Zhang Ning?
The man in yellow boots said, "I don't know, I really don't know. He went into the room after he came back with us that day, and I didn't see him all day."
The man in the black hat said he didn't know Zhang Ning's whereabouts.
"Lock them both up."
The experimental base began an emergency search for Zhang Ning's whereabouts.

The car carrying Mu Wenxi drove to the gate. She stayed in the car, not daring to move, because there were guards patrolling.

The leader was furious: "Send people to chase after them! They are our most important experimental subject. If they disappear, all our achievements of the past ten years will be wasted."
The car drove back to the same big ditch as before. While the two wrecked workers were dragging the body, Mu Wenxi decisively jumped out of the trunk, grabbed Qin Lun, and ran away. The workers dragging the body noticed the commotion and turned around to see Mu Wenxi running away.
The two were dumbfounded: "Holy crap, the corpse escaped."
"Did it come back to life?"
"what to do?"
"Pretend we didn't see it. If they find out the body escaped from here, they'll definitely kill us."
The two continued digging a hole and hypnotizing themselves: "I didn't see anything, I didn't see anything."
The real Zhang Ning woke up a few hours later to find himself hand and foot bound and still at their usual body disposal site. He had no choice but to find a way to untie himself and escape back to the experimental base.
Mu Wenxi carried Qin Lun and ran wildly until she reached the red car she had abandoned earlier before transforming back into her true form. Unexpectedly, the car was still there. She placed Qin Lun in the passenger seat and said, "Okay, we're safe for now. Let's go."
Qin Lun, seemingly sensing that there was no danger in the environment, slumped down on the chair. Only then did Mu Wenxi relax and take a closer look at him. He was actually quite cute, somewhat like a domesticated leopard cat. His fur was not black, but rather had a hint of brown.
She drove aimlessly. There were no people or zombies for miles around the laboratory base, and Mu Wenxi drove very smoothly. After thinking for a moment, she decided to rely on herself: "Let's go and stock up on some supplies first. I don't know if we still have any. Let's go and see first. There's a little guy we need to raise."
Qin Lun was still lying there lazily, seemingly unaware that the little guy was talking about him.
