Han Chao shone his flashlight inside and said, "It must have been left by a former teacher."
The two proceeded cautiously, walking through three classrooms down the corridor before reaching its end. At the end of the corridor was a window, but all they could see was darkness; the outside was sealed off by an iron cage, making it impossible to jump out of the window.
Not seeing Yu Zhiyuan and Jiang Qi on the first floor, Mu Wenxi decided to go upstairs to check.
The two people and the ghost stepped onto the stairs to the second floor. There were about ten steps. When the two people and the ghost stood at the top of the stairs, a sound like marbles falling to the ground suddenly came from the corridor. It started slowly and then got faster and faster.
“Da...da...da...da da...da da da…”
The sound was very clear in the quiet, dark environment and lasted for seven or eight seconds before stopping.
Mu Wenxi and Han Chao exchanged a glance and both saw the fear in each other's eyes.
Han Chao trembled slightly: "Should we continue forward?"
Mu Wenxi hesitated for a second, then thought of Yu Zhiyuan and Jiang Qi and almost couldn't help but curse again: "Let's go."
The sound of marbles seemed to be coming from the right corridor. Mu Wenxi lifted her leg and walked to the right, but her leg was weak due to fear.
From the stairwell, a green light could be seen at the bottom of the second-floor corridor, and the other classroom doors looked particularly eerie under the green light.
The sound of two people's footsteps and faint, fearful breathing could be heard in the corridor, along with Han Chao's swallowing sounds.
Mu Wenxi shone the light on the class sign: "The first classroom is 201, Class 1 of Grade 11."
The layout inside is similar to that on the first floor.
Han Chao: "The second room is 202."
Mu Wenxi: "The third room, 203".
Han Chao: "The...fourth classroom, 205."
Mu Wenxi realized something: "Wait a minute! Why isn't classroom 204 here?"
Han Chao: "No, I don't know."
Mu Wenxi's heart tightened. Just as the two were about to turn around and walk to the left, the sound of glass marbles came again, this time from the left corridor.
Han Chao: "Why do I feel like this sound has been around us the whole time, but I haven't seen anyone?"
The corridor to the left also contained several classrooms. At first glance, there was nothing unusual except for the darkness. Mu Wenxi turned her gaze into the classrooms and discovered a strange scene.
Suddenly, all the desks and chairs in the classroom started moving on their own. The desks and chairs, which had been arranged haphazardly, became perfectly tidy in an instant, and then there was no more movement.
Mu Wenxi: "Look."
Han Chao bit his lip hard, afraid to make a sound, and stared at the classroom door, fearing that someone would come out.
The desks in the second and third classrooms were still messy and unchanged. At the end of the corridor were the men's and women's restrooms. The restroom doors were tightly closed. When the two walked over, they could hear the "drip drip drip" sound of water coming from the restroom, but they couldn't hear it when they got closer.
Mu Wenxi unconsciously felt a little scared and moved closer to Xiao Chang'an.
Han Chao: "Should we open it?"
Seeing his trembling appearance, Mu Wenxi reached out and gently pushed open the door to the women's restroom. The door creaked open, sounding somewhat eerie in the darkness.
The floor is tiled, and the layout is a bit strange. There are four toilets in total, but the door of each toilet only reaches below chest level.
On the left is a handwashing basin, and water is constantly flowing from a faucet not far away.
It seems the dripping sound is coming from the tap.
Han Chao used a flashlight to check the women's restroom. When he shone it on the sink, he exclaimed, "Why is the water red?"
Mu Wenxi: "It's not red."
Han Chao rubbed his eyes, wanting to look again, but suddenly screamed.
Mu Wenxi almost jumped up because she saw a woman stand up in one of the squat toilets. She had long hair down to her waist and her features were not visible. Just one glance at her image left a lasting impression on Mu Wenxi.
Mu Wenxi instinctively closed her eyes and threw herself into Xiao Chang'an's arms.
Xiao Chang'an: "It's nothing, just a kid."
Mu Wenxi opened one eye, and the female ghost flashed and disappeared again.
Han Chao, standing behind him, clung tightly to the door beside him, crying out, "The female ghost... she's gone!"
Mu Wenxi: "I saw it."
Han Chao tugged at her sleeve: "Let's go quickly."
Mu Wenxi nodded and quietly moved closer to Xiao Chang'an: "Can I hold your hand?"
Xiao Chang'an took Mu Wenxi's hand.
Mu Wenxi held a flashlight in her right hand and pulled Xiao Chang'an by the hand with her left. When Han Chao saw Mu Wenxi leave, he subconsciously walked to Mu Wenxi's left. Mu Wenxi said, "You walk on my right."
Han Chao: "Why, why?"
Mu Wenxi: "I'm used to it. You can leave now, or you can leave by yourself."
Han Chao: "I'm leaving, I'm leaving."
The two walked up to the third floor. Mu Wenxi held Xiao Chang'an's hand; although it was a little cold, she felt a sense of security. She wasn't as afraid as before.
Han Chao walked to Mu Wenxi's right. Despite being taller, he walked slower than Mu Wenxi, and kept turning his head back and forth with a look of fear on his face.
Suddenly he patted Mu Wenxi in front of him, gesturing for her to look down.
Mu Wenxi looked down and saw streaks of blood seeping from the cracks in the stairs, the blood increasing as it seeped out, flowing all the way down to the second-floor corridor.
Hsiao Chang-an: "It's an illusion."
Mu Wenxi froze for a moment, only snapping out of her daze when she heard Xiao Chang'an's words and continuing to walk upstairs. Her emotions were like a rollercoaster, and just as things were calming down a little, a scream suddenly came from the classroom on the right side of the third floor.
Mu Wenxi's heart jumped again: "It seems to be Yu Zhiyuan."
The two people and the ghost quickened their pace, went up to the third floor, and walked to the right.
Mu Wenxi called softly, "Yu Zhiyuan? Yu Zhiyuan? Is that you?"
"Hehehehehehehe".
Han Chao: "Oh my god, that's terrifying! I got goosebumps. Where did those two go?"
The two walked past classroom 301, which was empty, and then walked past 302 until they reached classroom 305. This floor, like the second floor, did not have a classroom 304.
Why is there no 304 error?
As the two were pondering, they heard a creaking sound of a door opening from their left, seemingly trying to lure them over. The two then walked to the left.
After taking only a few steps, Mu Wenxi stopped and said, "Don't you feel like there's something constantly drawing us over?"
Han Chao: "Marbles, laughter, toilet dripping water..."
Mu Wenxi: "Why do they want to lure us over there?"
Han Chao: "Do you think it's possible that Jiang Qi and Yu Zhiyuan were also attracted there and haven't been able to get out?"
Mu Wenxi: "It's possible. Go check it out, but be careful."
Han Chao: "Luckily you have a talisman. It's different for me. Even if I'm careful, it won't help."
Mu Wenxi: "You're lucky you survived."
She tightened her grip on Xiao Chang'an's hand. No talisman could compare to having a real ghost by her side. Xiao Chang'an noticed her unease and moved even closer to her.
