Chapter 101 Interstellar Glory (Part 3)

She patted Shen Wangshu's head.

The tall, dark-haired man coughed even more violently.

“That’s him!” Shen Wangshu said softly, pointing at him.

Effie patted her head and smiled, but her dark golden eyes narrowed slightly as she softly said, "Sister understands."

Shen Wangshu nodded in satisfaction. She felt safe in Aifei's arms, and having already expressed her feelings for her, she nestled in this strong and reliable embrace that would never hurt her, nuzzled her face against Aifei's, and whispered, "Tired."

She was truly exhausted. Alice's body was incredibly delicate; she had been constantly on edge and in motion. She hadn't felt anything when she was tense, but now that she relaxed, all the fatigue washed over her. She gave a small yawn, hugged Effie's neck, and fell asleep.

Effie gently carried her and said softly to the remaining students, "You did a great job this time. Soon, the military will commend you."

What do teenagers care about most?

It means being recognized and receiving glory.

She looked at the excited smiles on the faces of these young children and couldn't help but smile back.

"Alice has always been well taken care of by you. She is still young, so please continue to look after her in the future." She was not a person who liked to show weakness, but for the sake of her younger sister, she spoke gently to several boys whose status was far inferior to hers.

"It's nothing, Alice is cute, we like her very much." Lori couldn't help but grab the red hair and giggle as she spoke.

“I remember you’re the youngest daughter of the Roland family,” Effie suddenly chuckled. She glanced at her younger sister, who was sleeping peacefully in her arms, clutching her military uniform, then looked at Lori and asked gently, “Are you two very close?”

“I really like Alice,” Lori said, blushing.

At the same time, Kerry glanced worriedly at his older brother beside him.

That surging rage almost burned through the entire warship!

"From now on, Alice is in your care." Effie's eyes were full of smiles as she looked at the red-haired girl with a gaze that was both trusting and authoritative, yet made one feel very valued. She said gently, "Alice needs a lot of care, and I'm sure you'll be in a lot of trouble from now on."

She watched as Lori shook her head vigorously, her eyes sparkling as she looked at her, this time with a genuine expression of pleasure. She lovingly lowered her beautiful face, gazing at the innocent and dazed little girl even in her sleep. Thinking of the man Lori had just pointed to, a faint melancholy crept into her eyes, and she sighed softly.

We set off back

Her voice suddenly became calm.

Although the enemy had been wiped out, it was unwise to stay here. The middle-aged teacher leading the group nodded repeatedly and led several students to follow Effie into her warship.

This was a massive warship. In her sleep, Shen Wangshu heard footsteps moving quickly, yet there was no sound, which told her that the warship was well-controlled by Aifei. She vaguely felt a pair of gentle hands stroking her hair, and a tender kiss landing on her forehead, before she drifted off to sleep completely.

She didn't know how long she had slept before she reluctantly opened her eyes, strained to see the dim ceiling, and slowly got out of bed. She was petite, sitting in the soft, white blankets, pouting and humming softly.

A woman's low laughter came from the side.

Shen Wangshu rubbed her eyes and looked over, only to see Aifei sitting by her bedside.

It seemed she had been watching him the whole time, never leaving.

Shen Wangshu followed the body's memories and skillfully pounced on her to hug her neck, treating herself as an accessory to Aifei.

Effie smiled and patted her hair.

Shen Wangshu rubbed Aifei's hand more skillfully.

"Why did you find me, sister?" In her past life, Effie hadn't mentioned suddenly appearing on the battlefield, which led to the deaths of the ten Kree men left behind on the warship. Shen Wangshu hugged her sister contentedly, but asked with some curiosity, "Is it telepathy?"

That's a bit materialistic. Effie nodded helplessly and said softly, "I received a distress signal from the spaceship." In this life, because the spaceship was escaping quickly, the navigator who left soon escaped the star field where the signal was jammed and began frantically calling for help. Effie knew that her sister was still on the warship, so she brought the fleet to provide support.

She touched Shen Wangshu's head with lingering fear and said softly, "I'm really afraid it won't be enough time."

The entire fleet made several space jumps, which caused great damage to the warships themselves.

Shen Wangshu nodded, and asked seemingly casually, "Did General Karl also come with my sister?"

Although she seemed indifferent, her pair of snow-white little ears twitched back and forth, and her beautiful blue eyes would occasionally steal glances at her, making Aifei's feelings particularly complicated.

She wasn't oblivious, and of course she could see that her sister held General Karls in high regard.

What's more, she had just pointed at Kars and said she liked him.

Effie had a bit of a headache.

Her short, dark golden hair was almost completely white with worry. Looking at her innocent younger sister, she really wanted to tell her about the wickedness of people's hearts.

After a long pause, she still couldn't bear to frighten her sister, and said dryly, "We met at the same space jump point, and he's also on his way, probably for Kree."

Kerry was Karl's youngest brother, so there was nothing wrong with her rushing to see him. However, Effie still felt a sense of unease about the situation. She paused for a moment, firmly refusing to discuss Karl, and then sighed before saying to Alice, "You were too impulsive this time. You need to know that sometimes, life is far more important than glory."
