"Boss is going back." Ah Guang appeared out of nowhere and said with a smile.
He glanced at Ah Xuan, who was looking in the mirror, and a faint envy flashed in his eyes.
“Ah Xuan can wear all of these.” Shen Wangshu looked at the tall, handsome zombie with admiration.
He was so handsome that even a zombie would be likable. She took several pieces of clothing from the clothes rack next to her, rolled them up, and stuffed them into her backpack. Ah Xuan seemed to know that these were clothes for her. He moved closer to Shen Wangshu, looked around, rubbed against Shen Wangshu's hand, hissed, and pointed to a very long trench coat next to him.
The trench coat was iron gray, slim and crisp, and would obviously look great on someone.
"Ah Xuan really knows how to pick clothes." Shen Wangshu tiptoed and kissed Ah Xuan's cold face.
The zombie immediately became smug, and like an emperor surveying his territory, he looked around the small area with the clothes racks.
Ah Guang pursed his lips.
"That outfit looks good on the boss." Since most of the zombies in the supermarket had been eliminated, he relaxed. Although his hands were still surrounded by light, his eyes were wandering over the clothes rack.
The clothes racks held not only men's clothing but also a lot of women's wear. The era favored androgynous styles, so many women's clothes looked neat and crisp. Shen Wangshu was looking at one of the denim outfits when she heard rustling sounds beside her. She turned her head, her lips twitching slightly, and asked speechlessly, "What are you doing?"
The zombie and Ah Guang each had one hand gripping the same piece of women's clothing, and they were wrestling with each other.
It's like a tug-of-war.
However, it was clear that Ah Guang was far weaker than Ah Xuan. Veins bulged on his forehead as he struggled to pull himself back.
Ah Xuan's face was stiff and expressionless, but one pale hand gripped his clothes tightly as he roared threateningly at Ah Guang.
"What are you doing?" Shen Wangshu asked as she walked over.
Ah Xuan turned his head and roared at Shen Wangshu, as if he were complaining.
"I got this coat first." This fiery red trench coat suited the energetic Nan Lan perfectly. A-Guang saw it at first glance and was overjoyed, wanting to take it with him. But then a shameless zombie suddenly appeared, trying to snatch it from him. A faint light swirled in his hand; he wanted to just slap the zombie in the face, but glancing back at the direction Nan Lan had left, he gritted his teeth, a threatening look on his handsome face, and said, "Don't push me!"
The light in his hand became even more dazzling.
The zombie completely ignored the threat and howled at Ah Guang, seemingly telling him to use his light-based superpower if he dared.
This is truly a bloody incident caused by a piece of clothing.
Shen Wangshu sighed, feeling that although he thought it was nice that Ah Xuan was thinking of him, the zombie was really in the wrong.
They clearly took a liking to him first, so there should be some order of precedence, right? Besides... this person is destined to be a renowned and powerful figure, a beacon of light...
“I don’t like red. Look, that one looks much better.” Shen Wangshu helplessly touched the zombie’s pale face. He glanced at a pure white jacket next to him, then at the one in his hand. He continued to hold the red trench coat, but pulled the trench coat and the weak A-Guang to the white jacket. He grabbed the white jacket with one paw and the red trench coat with the other, and howled at Shen Wangshu twice.
Although he couldn't speak, Shen Wangshu still understood without a word and had to look apologetically at A-Guang, who was trembling with anger.
The zombie said... not one can be missing...
"Damn it!" The handsome young man was instantly enraged.
"Misunderstanding, misunderstanding." Shen Wangshu looked at the smug zombie, then at the Lightbringer with whom he harbored deep hatred.
She grabbed the red trench coat, and seeing that Ah Xuan had let go, she quickly shoved it into Ah Guang's arms, hugged Ah Xuan, and whispered words of comfort.
She spoke softly and gently, her tenderness penetrating to the bone. Every now and then, she would affectionately kiss Ah Xuan's face. Seeing that he no longer cared about the trench coat, she turned to Ah Guang and smiled slightly.
“Nan Lan really suits this dress.” Seeing that A Guang’s face turned red instantly and his clear eyes were filled with a sparkling light, she couldn’t help but laugh as well.
She found this Ah Guang quite interesting. No wonder Song Xi in her previous life could only be good friends with the Lightbringers instead of taking them as her men; it turned out that such a young man was probably too much for her to do. She didn't know if Nan Lan could bring herself to do it, but Ah Guang clearly had some ideas in mind. She saw Ah Guang give a satisfied snort and put his trench coat on his arm.
Having been delayed for a long time, Shen Wangshu was worried that Nan Lan might be in danger outside, so they walked out of the supermarket together.
Both she and A-Guang were physically weak. A-Xuan, imitating Nan Lan, carried the remaining backpacks by hand, on her shoulder, in her mouth, and even had a long string of sausages hanging around her neck as she walked outside.
Nan Lan stood beside the SUV, arms crossed, gazing solemnly into the distance.
She glanced over casually, her lips twitching slightly.
Zombies hanging with sausages or something...
"Let's go." After Ah Xuan jumped into the car, he was unhappily surrounded by sausages, hugging Shen Wangshu and licking her neck. Watching the glistening water streaks spread across Shen Wangshu's snow-white neck, Nan Lan closed her eyes, as if enduring it. After a moment of silence, she pushed Ah Guang into the car as well, and quickly started the SUV. The SUV drifted in a beautiful arc, roared, and rushed towards the suburbs.
As Shen Wangshu sat in the car, letting Ah Xuan make gurgling sounds in her ear, she turned around and her eyes narrowed slightly.
