"Work," Lei Xuan said coldly.
He worked with both hands, occasionally signing his name on documents or writing down suggestions. After Shen Wangshu had been watching him expectantly for two hours, the man finally raised his head.
He called Secretary Dong in and tossed the documents to her.
"President Lei?" Secretary Dong was immediately shocked by the high work efficiency. Although Lei Xuan was also very decisive in his work in the past, it was still inhuman to finish reading a whole day's worth of documents in two hours.
However, she merely adjusted her glasses, her gaze subtly sweeping over the beautiful and charming Shen Wangshu, who was giving Lei Xuan a captivating smile. Secretary Dong gave the incompetent emperor a deep look, then glanced at Assistant Sheng, the treacherous concubine who had brought ruin to the country, before slowly recommending, "The night view from the Pearl Hotel is quite nice."
She coughed, tidied up the documents Lei Xuan had signed, and asked Lei Xuan, "Do we need to reserve a spot?" After thinking for a while, she continued, "Girls all like carousels." Perhaps feeling that the afternoon was enough for a trip to the amusement park and then dinner, she added, "There's a really good movie showing at midnight right now, 'You Are My Liver'."

"Group buying is cheaper," Secretary Dong said with a straight face.
"You're really thrifty!" The fact that the word "group purchase" appeared in the office book of the president of a prestigious international conglomerate made Shen Wangshu feel incredibly conflicted. She hesitated again, then looked up expectantly and asked, "Is dinner at the Pearl Hotel also part of the group purchase?"
Well, although Mr. Lei is very rich, we should still save money where we can. They still have two children and two elderly people to support. Shen Wangshu thought she was very good at managing money, but then she saw Secretary Dong silently watching her. "...This date is really cheap." Shen Wangshu sighed deeply, then gave Lei Xuan a sweet smile, indicating that it was great to save money. Only then did she see Secretary Dong nod in satisfaction and leave with his head held high.
She watched the secretary leave with reverence, then walked over to Lei Xuan in her comfortable shoes and said with a smile, "Secretary Dong is quite adorable." Although she was strict and rigid and said to never be accommodating, Shen Wangshu had a good impression of Secretary Dong. Thinking about the way this date was going to go, she couldn't help but smile and say, "She seems to be a very happy person."

"Let's skip the amusement park and go see a movie instead."
Shen Wangshu used to love the carousel, but amusement parks are more fun when the whole family goes together. It was during the working hours of the day, so there weren't many people in the movie theater. Shen Wangshu and Lei Xuan sat hand in hand in a private box at the back.
This is clearly a lighthearted romantic comedy, not a heavy love story. It's just warm, slightly funny everyday moments, like the spring sunshine—fresh and warm.
The overall tone of the film is warm, and even with some minor setbacks, it doesn't make people feel too sad. Shen Wangshu, who has been an actor before, can see that although the actors in this film are all very young, they have a unique and clean aura.
This movie is perfect for couples; it'll make you laugh and lift your spirits. While thinking Secretary Dong had good taste, Shen Wangshu silently criticized the movie's title. Clearly, its tacky style was similar to Director Song's earlier film, *The Rose Detective*.
The plot of the movie was very simple, but Shen Wangshu felt that it ended in a very short time. It wasn't until the black curtain began to roll that she realized the movie was over.
