Chapter 314 The Serpent Queen's Dilemma (Part 7)



Xiang Wan had originally planned to leave the snake in the mountains after she left, checking on it occasionally and bringing it some food to keep it alive. But this snake was so incredibly intelligent; it even gave her such an important bead. For its kindness, Xiang Wan couldn't just abandon it.

The snake silently enjoyed Xiang Wan's caresses and face rubbing, even turning its head slightly to rub back.

Xiang Wan chuckled, patted its head, and gestured for it to wait aside. She carefully put the bead away, then proceeded to cut off the tenderest parts of the lizard and toss them to the snake.

One person and one snake, one tossing the food around happily, the other eating with gusto. Before they knew it, the lizard's entire internal organs were gone, and Xiang Wan didn't intend to touch the remaining cavity. Because she noticed that the snake's movements seemed to have become sluggish, as if it was too lazy to move after eating its fill.

Realizing the snake was full and could remain motionless for a week, Xiang Wan quickly instructed it to throw the remaining lizard cavity away from the shore. If it wasn't thrown away soon, and the snake fell asleep, she wouldn't be able to move this enormous creature, and it would rot on the shore, making her feel nauseous.

After cleaning the bank, the snake fell into a deep sleep. Xiang Wan circled the snake for a while, and seeing that it was truly fast asleep, she went to the bank to give it a thorough cleaning.

It's been almost a month since I fell into the hole, and I'm covered in dirt, smell, and stickiness. At first, I was worried about being attacked by animals, but after getting used to the snake, I'm now worried that it might not have had enough to eat and, seeing my fair and tender skin, might not be able to resist swallowing me whole.

Now that the snake is asleep, she can finally take a bath in peace.
