Chapter 488 Taboo (Part 10)

Xiang Wan chuckled coldly, "What do I owe you? Did you give birth to me or raise me?"

She stretched out her hands and pried Lou Junxuan's tightly clasped fingers apart one by one, saying mercilessly, "Lou Junxuan, don't pretend to be so great. In my eyes, you're just living a less stifling life because of the Lou family's wealth. What right do you have to talk to me about debts? If anyone owes anything, it's Lou Jing who owes my deceased mother, and he can never repay that debt!"

"Have you said enough?" Lou Junxuan clenched his fists and growled.

"What, did I hit the nail on the head? Are you getting angry now?" Xiang Wan didn't take it to heart. She reached out and tapped his chest, saying each word clearly, "I, Lou Xiang Wan, am upright and honest. I will return every penny of the Lou family's property. I don't owe you a single cent!"

Her pale fingertips touched his chest repeatedly, each touch like a heavy hammer, striking Lou Junxuan's heart again and again.

He stared intently at Xiang Wan, watching his lips move. For some reason, a surge of rage rose within him, and he wished he could shut the man's mouth so that he could never utter another word to absolve him of any responsibility.

When he came to his senses, a pair of extremely astonished eyes magnified in front of him, and the warm touch on his lips made Lou Junxuan panic.

Lou Junxuan's heart pounded heavily, making his blood rush to his head. A fleeting look of embarrassment and confusion crossed his eyes.

After a brief moment of shock, Xiang Wan calmed down, her eyes expressionless, and stared fixedly at Lou Junxuan, as if mocking his inner ugliness and his current wretched state.

Lou Junxuan, who had already realized that his behavior was extremely inappropriate, was extremely embarrassed. However, when he saw Xiang Wan's indifferent and mocking expression, his last bit of rationality was completely swept away by anger.

Since he has already been dragged into hell, why should the person involved want to stay out of it?

If you're destined to be trapped in hell forever, then go with him!

Completely losing his mind, Lou Junxuan unleashed his masculine instincts, pinning Xiang Wan's hands above her head and locking her legs tightly around his lower body. With his clumsy kissing skills, he tormented Xiang Wan's lips, and tormented himself as well.

Many things that were previously incomprehensible suddenly became clear at this moment.

If the initial reason for bringing him into the family was to appreciate his stubbornness, then the subsequent attention and control were simply to keep him by my side so that I could see him at all times.

Choosing everything for him, worrying that he would be bullied outside, cleaning up after him countless times—it wasn't for so-called brotherhood, but for possession and control, it was liking, it was love!

Realizing this, Lou Junxuan felt a sense of sorrow rise in his heart.

Perhaps Lou Xiangwan sensed his feelings for her from the beginning, which is why she was rebellious, disobedient, and not under his control. It's laughable that Lou Junxuan kept using the ridiculous excuse of brotherhood to justify himself.

So that's how despicable he's always been. No wonder his younger brother wanted to escape, no matter how good he was to him, he never wanted to come back to him!

If it were Lou Junxuan, he probably would have just drawn his knife and killed the person.

Now, his feelings have nowhere to hide, and after today, perhaps they will never cross paths again. Since that's the case, why not go all out this time, as a way to commemorate the feelings he has been suppressing all this time?

Lou Junxuan, no longer pretending, closed his eyes. He dared not look at his ugly face reflected in those clear black and white eyes. Ignoring Xiang Wan's strong struggles, he imagined that the person beneath him was his younger brother who trusted him completely, and only took from her until she gave up resisting. Blood filled his mouth and bitterness filled his lips.

Xiang Wan cried, not only for the original owner of the body, but also for herself.

A relationship destined to be unacceptable to the world, no matter how much she struggled or tried to push the other away, it always backfired.

This was the original owner's helplessness, and also her tragedy.

Heaven knows how overjoyed she was when she learned that Lou Junxuan possessed a fragment of a soul. Yet, how helpless she felt after receiving the original owner's wishes.

In this life, she wanted Lou Junxuan to be well, but it backfired. Yet, a hope inexplicably arose in her heart.

This feeling came at an inopportune time, and Xiang Wan had to suppress it and calm down.

Lou Junxuan's restlessness was completely extinguished by Xiang Wan's actions.

He looked up and saw that Xiang Wan's tears had soaked the blankets by her ears. He couldn't help but reach out and gently wipe them away, his eyes filled with pity, but even more so with pain.

Xiang Wan didn't move, letting him clean her cheeks and wipe the blood from the corners of her mouth.

Finally, Lou Junxuan stood up, unable to face Xiang Wan, so he turned around, his back to her, and whispered, "I'm sorry!"

The sound seemed to be squeezed out of the throat.

Xiang Wan composed herself and got up as if nothing had happened. While tidying her clothes and bed, she said, "No need. In our line of work, as long as you can afford the price, there's nothing we can't do. However, you took up my time that I was serving others today, and I need to explain."

Lou Junxuan turned around in disbelief, his anger flaring up instantly: "Lou Xiangwan, do you have any shame at all?"

Xiang Wan stared at him intently, without saying a word.

Lou Junxuan looked somewhat embarrassed, turned around and left the room without looking back, slamming the door shut behind him.

The same waiter, who had just been there, led the manager out and into the next room. The two exchanged a glance and then silently went down the stairs.

The manager scolded the waiter all the way back to the office.

The waiter was a little indignant. He clearly hadn't made a mistake, yet the manager had misunderstood him. So he immediately decided to keep a close eye on that room, just in case something unusual was discovered.
