Stepping out of the room, the hall had become very quiet. Several guards approached and invited Audra to the council chamber at the back of the hall.
Xiang Wan and Simon were not allowed to enter the formal meeting.
Before entering, Audra leaned down and whispered in Xiang Wan's ear, "Don't wander around. Wait for me to come out."
Xiang Wan nodded, and the magnificent golden door slowly closed in Audra's slightly smiling eyes.
Without Audra's protection, Xiang Wan could feel countless curious or malicious gazes wherever she went. Simon and the others did not pay much attention to Xiang Wan, but instead stood on guard to one side of the hall, sizing up the other princes' subordinates.

As they passed a stone pillar, someone called out to Xiang Wan.

As she spoke, Susan's eyes filled with tears, almost overflowing.

Xiang Wan smiled and listened, feeling a sense of peace and tranquility, as if she had returned to modern times, found a quiet room, and was chatting with her friends, sharing heartfelt words.
After talking for a while, Susan fell silent when she finally mentioned the man she was talking about.
"I didn't know he was a prince. Falling in love with him was completely unexpected. My parents don't want me, my relatives and friends ignore me, and I'm disliked wherever I go.
