Chapter 643 Vampire Hunter (The End)

While in the council chamber, he didn't understand what his feelings for him were, but when he disappeared from his side, he realized that his heart was already full of him, and there was nothing else left.

He disappeared, and he searched frantically everywhere. When Simon said he had killed him, he didn't hesitate to grind Simon to dust. At that moment, his heart was filled with despair, and his temples instantly turned as white as frost. It was then that he understood that vampires, too, grow old.

Unwilling to believe that he was dead, he searched everywhere for his shadow, following the woman around, hoping that one day, when he returned to see her, he would see him.

The thought that he might like that woman made him want to tear her to shreds immediately. But he couldn't! If even the only woman he had ever crossed paths with died, he didn't know where to find her.

Fortunately, he spared her life!

Thankfully, he's back!

In Audra's eyes, a myriad of emotions ultimately coalesced into a profound longing and deep affection. Xiang Wan turned her head away, unable to bear watching any longer.

If her gradually recovering memories are real, then the person in front of her is very likely still acting. She can't repeat the same mistake!

One act of reckless madness is enough!

"If you really want to express your apology, then join me in rebuilding the rules between our two races."

"good!"

Without a second thought, Xiang Wan agreed. But the rest of her words caught in her throat; she couldn't spit them out, nor could she swallow them down.

Seeing the joy in his eyes, Xiang Wan resisted the urge to discourage him.

Audra didn't say anything more, and with a single blow, he split the coffin open. Philok's hateful and venomous eyes were terrifying.

Before Xiang Wan could speak, Audra extended his sharp nails and gouged out those eyes. The bloody scene, accompanied by a piercing scream, attracted all the hunters outside the dark room.

"Captain, how are you?"

"fine!"

After Xiang Wan finished speaking, Audra disappeared into the dark room.

Philo's heart and limbs were nailed into a coffin and taken back for trial at a later date.

Later, with Audra's help, Xiang Wan quickly eliminated all the vampires who hated humans. Those who remained either lived in seclusion or had no desire to fight.

After Smith's death, Xiang Wan became the supreme commander of the alliance. In the decades that followed, Xiang Wan devoted her life to establishing new rules for humanity and gradually changing the relationship between humans and surviving vampires, making them no longer hostile to each other and even allowing free intermarriage.

Susan and Kendall stayed together until old age; when she passed away, Kendall also turned to ashes. Their children became the backbone of the League, maintaining the peace that had been bought with blood.

When emotions aren't involved, Xiang Wan can get along peacefully with Audra. However, she understands that this man won't let go.

He could follow her to every mission world, even erase his own memories, to be with her through countless lifetimes. Perhaps one day, when all her memories return, she will be moved by him, or perhaps all karmic ties will be severed—who knows?
