Chapter 179 The Cannon Fodder Special Police Officer's Husband-Catching Adventure 12

"It's getting late, let's go." Lou Yan put his arm around the unconscious person next to him and said to his friend.

“Great, your sister-in-law is nearing her end too. Let’s make them happy today. We’ll get together again another day and have a drink.” He then stood up.

Lou Yan scooped Sui Yi up in his arms and carried her out. Cheng Chen opened the car door for him, and Lou Yan easily lifted Sui Yi into the car. He fastened her seatbelt and got in. He sat next to Sui Yi, protecting her. Meanwhile, his driver drove away.

After returning home, Lou Yan placed Sui Yi on the sofa. He then got up and went to the bathroom to run a stream. After preparing everything, he came into the living room. Looking at the person sleeping soundly, he felt a little awkward. Although they had already been intimate, he still felt somewhat embarrassed.

He took a deep breath, picked her up, and carried her into the bathroom. He undressed her and gently placed her in the bathtub. Looking at her flushed face, he was somewhat puzzled. She didn't seem drunk at all; instead, she seemed to be under some kind of drug, her whole body burning hot.

At this moment, the medicine took effect, and Suiyi began to feel unwell unconsciously. She made a tempting sound.

She would have been fine if she hadn't made a sound, but the moment she did, the man almost lost control. He hurriedly washed her, pulled her out of the bathtub, and wrapped her in a towel.

However, the person under the influence of the drug was restless. She reached out her fair hand, encircled his neck, and instinctively licked his Adam's apple with her tongue. You see, that's a very sensitive spot for a man. If it weren't for her exceptional self-control, the situation would probably have spiraled out of control by now.

I carried her into the bedroom. I tried to pull her hands down, but it didn't work. She seemed to be a completely different person, perhaps even a little drunk.

Just then, the phone rang. Lou Yan had no choice but to stop her, take out his phone, and answer it.

The screen showed a call from his older brother, and he pressed the answer button.

"Hey bro. I've got a gift for you. You'd better enjoy it." After saying that, there was a dial tone. The call had obviously been disconnected.

Unbeknownst to them, both of them had contracted the virus! They were both feeling feverish.

Lou Yan wasn't a particularly abstinent person, and besides, the person beside him was his rightful wife. It's perfectly normal for things to happen between husband and wife. So he didn't have any other plans. He'd just let things take their course and follow his heart.

He slowly lifted the covers, took off his clothes, and slipped into bed. The two young people, man and woman, did the indescribable things of life. The moon blushed and hid behind the clouds. And the stars did the same.

The next morning, the man was the first to wake up. His sharp eyes opened, sensing a presence beside him. Alert, he looked towards the source of the scent. There, he saw a quiet, peaceful face. He relaxed. It was the woman he had recently married, the woman he had fallen in love with.

Lou Yan looked at her tenderly, reached out, and tucked a stray strand of hair behind her ear. A sense of satisfaction washed over him as he gazed at her peaceful sleeping face.

Suddenly, a flood of images flashed through his mind. They felt like they belonged to him. But he was 100% certain that none of this had happened in this world. It must have been something from a past life. A surge of excitement welled up inside him. Because he remembered everything. She was his; he had finally found her.

The man's eyes were fixed on her, as if he were afraid that she would disappear if he blinked even slightly, staring at him intently.

Unable to contain his excitement, he reached out and pulled her into his arms. In that instant, he felt as if he were embracing the whole world. He quietly stayed with her as she slept all morning.

It was nearly noon. Suiyi woke up. The moment she opened her eyes, she saw the man's bright, starry eyes looking at her. In that instant, she felt they were filled with doting affection.

Sui Yi was startled; that gaze seemed strangely familiar. It was as if a man from the last century had seen her. Sui Yi stared at him intently, her eyes unblinking.

"Are you him?" Suiyi asked tentatively.

"right!"

Hearing this affirmative answer, tears welled up in her eyes. It really was him. All the doubts in her heart were confirmed at this moment.

She nestled into his arms, her heart pounding with excitement and joy. She realized she wasn't alone in this world, because she had the person she loved by her side.

"How did you get here?" The man was filled with doubt, as she was bound to a system and had come to complete a mission.

"Fool! Because this heart can't live without you. It's what brought me here."

"Really?"

"Really? When have I ever lied to you?"

"It's so good to have you."

"Yi'er, I love you."

When Sui Yi heard this address, she froze, unable to look at the man with confidence.

Was he calling out his real name?

What did you call me?

"Yi'er!"

"Who are you? How do you know my name?"

"Who am I? Let's get to know each other now. My name is Qi Muzhi."

"It's you." Fate is truly a wondrous thing. The two hadn't crossed paths much in real life. Yet, unexpectedly, in this mission world, they would meet, fall in love, and become close. And now, Sui Yi's heart was filled with complex emotions.

Because he didn't know how to treat them, the two had only met once or twice in real life. But in the virtual world, they fell in love.

At this moment, neither he nor she doubted the destiny between them. It was truly wondrous.

At this moment, Suiyi began to feel something was wrong with her body. Her body felt sore, like she had just done a 5km trail run. Especially a certain indescribable area felt particularly uncomfortable.

Sui Yi wasn't some naive young girl who knew nothing. Considering her current situation with her lover, she was perfectly aware of the situation. Sui Yi's face turned bright red.

Based on the physical sensations, she was absolutely certain that neither of them was wearing any clothes.

Sui Yi was momentarily taken aback. It was incredibly awkward. Although it wasn't their first time together—they were practically veterans in this area—think about it. They'd been through so many things together, and she was still just an 18-year-old girl. Sui Yi's awkwardness only lasted a few minutes before she quickly adjusted her mindset.

"I'm hungry."

"Okay, then I'll go make you something to eat." With a man's emotional intelligence, how could he not know what she was thinking? He just found her adorable. Even though they're an old married couple, she still felt shy about this kind of thing. This was truly a novel experience.
