"Mom and Dad, what brings you here today? Are you coming over for dinner?" Leng Kang asked, somewhat puzzled, looking at his family sitting together in his living room. Usually, it was just the three of them visiting his parents; why had they decided to come to his house?
Leng's parents exchanged a glance, both completely bewildered. Then they both looked at Leng Yue, but Leng Yue pretended not to see them and turned her head away.
"Zhao Ya, Zhao Ya?" Leng Kang suddenly called out to Zhao Ya again.
Zhao Ya brought out some fruit from the kitchen, placed it on the coffee table, wiped her hands, and walked over to Leng Kang. "What's wrong?"
"Why is there so much luggage in the house? Look how messy it is, are we moving?" Leng Kang pointed to the suitcases piled against the wall.
Zhao Ya was stunned. She looked at Leng Kang and asked, "Honey, are you alright? Why are you talking nonsense? This luggage is yours. It was prepared for your trip abroad."
“Go abroad? Go abroad what? Why would I go abroad for no reason!” Leng Kang looked at the people around him. “What’s wrong? Why are you all looking at me like that? Is something wrong?”
