Lechen bent down and carefully picked him up. He wanted to put the little monk in his room, but when he turned around, he saw the empty bed.
After hesitating for a moment, he turned and walked towards Jiang Jingyu's room next door.
Nothing in the room had changed, except that it felt a little empty, as the owner of the room was gone.
Liaochen gently placed the little monk on Jiang Jingyu's bed. He then sat down on the soft couch in front of the window, closed his eyes and watched over the sleeping little monk.
There was a faint fragrance lingering in the room, the same smell as Jiang Jingyu's body.
The smell filled Lechen's nose. Perhaps all his energy had been exhausted after these three days and three nights, so Lechen fell asleep directly while sitting on the couch.
He had a dream, a very long dream.
The scenes in the dream were so beautiful that he didn't want to wake up, and before he knew it, it was getting dark.
The little monk woke up, sobbing occasionally while breathing. When he saw Liaochen sitting on the couch, he walked over to him.
Liaochen lowered his head with the corners of his mouth slightly raised, and it was obvious that he was having a sweet dream.
The little monk looked at him curiously with his butt sticking out, his little hand resting on Lechen's leg.
Lechen woke up, and the smile on his face disappeared the moment he opened his eyes.
"Senior Brother Liaochen."
The little monk shouted.
"Wake up, I'll take you down the mountain."
Lechen got up from the couch and wanted to send the little monk back before it got completely dark.
The little monk shook his head: "No, I can go back by myself."
After the little monk finished speaking, he lowered his head and turned to walk out the door. In the end, neither of them mentioned Jiang Jingyu again.
Lechen stood in front of the window and looked at the scenery outside the yard. He was clearly looking at the scenery, but his thoughts had already wandered uncontrollably.
He remembered the dream he had just had.
Her pretty face lingered in his mind, and her every frown and smile were etched in his memory, lingering.
All that came to mind were the little details between the two of them, and once he started thinking about them, it was like spilled water and he couldn't stop.
Lechen stood in front of the window for a long time, and finally set off down the mountain.
He came to Master Jingkong's residence with a lantern. Master Jingkong was sitting cross-legged on a cushion, as if he had been waiting for a long time.
"Master, how can we completely remove the curse from her?"
