Dusk nodded and followed the coachman back to the palace.
After watching the carriage leave, Rong Ling immediately walked up to Shang Xian and asked, "Have you been back at the Prime Minister's residence for so long? Has something happened?"
Shang Xian glanced at him and then chuckled, "What good would it do to tell you if something happened?"
"This..." Rong Ling clicked his tongue, "Maybe it can be of some help!"
He pondered that the Emperor hadn't done anything to the Right Chancellor's residence recently, so how could something have happened?
"It's nothing serious, just trivial matters"—to her, they were all minor issues.

"I misunderstood you, Yu Hanzhi," Shang Xian apologized to Yu Hanzhi, using his full name, since having more friends is always better than having more enemies.
Yu Hanzhi paused, turning her head to look at Shang Xian. Although she couldn't see his expression clearly, she could still see his eyes in the moonlight, both surprised and delighted.
"My father has already told me that it really has nothing to do with you. Plans can't keep up with changes, right? Will I get my comeuppance for cursing you in my heart for so long?" Shang Xian joked.
Seeing that they were all silent, Shangxian took the opportunity to ask her why she had become the empress.
