"Are they all people with superpowers?" Shang Xian looked around at the streets, where there were very few people.
Moxi nodded: "There are ability users of different races. Although there are quite a few people from the Time-Space Alliance, most of them are out on missions."
"Different races?" They're all superhumans, yet they're categorized by race? She suddenly looked at Moxi: "Then what are you?"
"I am a vampire."
"Bats?" That was the only thing Shang Xian could think of.
Moxi: "..." He took a deep breath: "Why do people say I'm a bat just because I'm a vampire?"
Not only her, but also the woman who saved him, the woman the Time Priest loved, said the same thing!
Damn it!
"Isn't that right?"
"Bats are a different race, a separate race called the Purple Winged Bat Clan, and I am a noble vampire! A noble vampire!" This excited Moxi greatly.
He is noble.
"Can you suck blood?" That's what she needed to know!
Moxi looked speechless: "What kind of vampire are you if you can't suck blood?"
He grinned at Shang Xian, who froze when he saw his two sharp teeth.
Moxi pursed his lips and shrugged: "Scared?"
"Smile again," Shang Xian said.
Moxi bared his two sharp teeth. Shang Xian stepped forward, pinched his cheeks, looked him up and down, and murmured, "So cool."
Moxi took a deep breath, trying to keep smiling, then suddenly grabbed her shoulders and lowered his head to bite her neck.
Shang Xian opened her eyes wide, feeling no pain whatsoever. Only then did she hear Mo Xi's low laughter. He looked up at her and said, "What, aren't you afraid I'll really suck your blood?"
You can give it a try.
Moxi straightened up, his eyes brimming with laughter: "Am I, a vampire, really that unfrightening?"
Shang Xian shook her head: "As long as my brother is handsome, I'll just say 'Are you there?' and we can start dating!"
Moxi was instantly bewildered, but then loud laughter came from behind him, with no intention of stopping.
Shang Xian turned to look at the person behind her, a handsome man with long pink hair from an exotic region, wearing a beige trench coat. He smiled without any attempt to hide his charm.
Shang Xian glanced at Mo Xi and then at the handsome man.
"Yaheng, aren't you afraid of being laughed to death?" Moxi rolled his eyes at him.
A handsome, long-haired man from a foreign land, known as Yaheng, walked up to them and scrutinized Shang Xian closely: "As long as my sister is beautiful, a simple 'Are you there? Are you asleep?' will suffice." He then laughed.
Shang Xian suddenly exclaimed, "Double pressure, skr!"
Yaheng laughed even more wildly.
“Speaking of which, you’re quite interesting, actually flirting with Segovia,” Yaheng said, his smile fading.
Shang Xian quickly waved her hand: "No, that's not true. I just wanted him to test if my blood is sweet."
Yaheng paused for a moment, then laughed: "This little sister is interesting."
Shang Xian then realized what Ya Heng had just said; he had called Mo Xi Segovia... Segovia.
"Your name is Segovia?" Shang Xian looked at Moxi, his face full of doubt.
Moxi raised an eyebrow, a slight smile playing on his lips.
“Yes, his name is Segovia, code name Mosi,” Yaheng explained.
"Your name is so cool, Segovia...so cool!"
"Yes, I am a noble vampire."
Shang Xian, no longer wanting to hear Mo Xi say he was a noble vampire, immediately changed the subject and asked Ya Heng, "And you?"
“Me?” Yaheng pointed to himself.
“He’s an elf,” Moxi said, brushing aside the hair near Yaheng’s ear to reveal a pair of pointed ears, in order to verify that Yaheng was an elf. “Look, there he is.”
