Xu Nian woke up from her sleep in a daze.
She opened her eyes to find that the patrolmen around her were gone.
Some of the people in the sleeping bags also disappeared, and no one knows where they went.
Even the unknown man who used to hold her before going to sleep was no longer by her side.
A suppressed cough reached Xu Nian's ears.
Following the direction of the cough, she saw a handsome young man gazing at her with reddened eyes.
His skin was very pale, as if he hadn't seen the sun for years, and it looked sickly.

Xu Nian climbed out of her sleeping bag and went to the sickly young man, extending her hand to him.
He glanced at her in surprise, then placed his other hand into Xu Nian's.
Without exchanging a single word, the two went straight to the entrance of the passage.
Looking up, it was pitch black; no one could see what lay at the other end of the passage.
But Xu Nian knew they had to go up.
Apart from this passage, there is no other way to leave this building.
The patrolmen disappeared, and with them, the previously unseen darkness vanished.
Without darkness, the entire building was laid out before us, surrounded by white walls, without doors, windows, or even a vent.
"I'll go up first, you follow behind me," Xu Nian said to the sickly young man.
"Wait, you're a girl, it's better for me to take the lead and protect you in a situation like this," the sickly young man said with a gentle smile.
"At this point, what's the point of distinguishing between men and women? I'll go up and check first, and I'll come down and let you know if everything's alright." Xu Nian said as she climbed the rusty steps.
As Xu Nian climbed higher and higher, the darkness before her eyes was gradually illuminated by light, and at the same time, a new notification sound came to her ears.
"Congratulations on successfully completing the first mini-game. Now, we will move on to the second mini-game. Please find the game location and meet up with the other players who are still alive within half an hour."

Xie Baiyu looked very nervous, and when she spoke with her head down, she couldn't help but clutch the hem of her T-shirt.
"My name is Xu Nian."
"We're pressed for time, we need to find the so-called game location quickly." Xu Nian looked around, searching for any suspicious clues.
What you see are very ordinary buildings, low houses, lush green vegetation, and everywhere you look there are small bridges, flowing water and houses.

Xu Nian followed behind Xie Baiyu, glancing at his tall, straight back and then at the fingers that were gripping her wrist.
The gentle caressing of her skin was dark and sticky, each touch filled with endless craving.
He didn't grip her wrist tightly, but it prevented her from easily breaking free.
He led me for a long time, and we passed low houses and lush green vegetation before arriving at the small river bridge.
Xu Nian saw that he still wouldn't let go, and kept stroking the skin on her wrist.
Unable to bear watching any longer, she shook her hand, but couldn't break free, so she asked, "Xie Baiyu, where are you taking me?"
"Niannian, believe me, I will take you away from here," Xie Baiyu said firmly in her clear and gentle voice.
If it weren't for the coughing he let out after he finished speaking, accompanied by his weak, panting appearance, it would have seemed quite believable.
The two had only been gone a short while when they heard screams from the crowd behind them, with people shouting things like "Flood is coming, run!"
Xu Nian suddenly returned and saw that the peaceful and quiet little world had suddenly been filled with towering waves, one after another, forming a flood that chased after everyone.
