Chapter 1459 Conquering the Medicine-Bottle Emperor

Even with a racing heart, there's still the beauty of the scenery.

He held her in his arms, surrounded by his unique masculine scent. Isn't it said that a man's subconscious reactions best reveal his thoughts? Yet, his subconscious action successfully made her heart race and her cheeks flush. She suddenly felt, to her surprise... that this man was quite manly.

But perhaps this was just a glamorous illusion, because he had already let go of her hand, stood up unsteadily, and was three steps away from her before turning his face to say sorry.

He became weak and listless.

Feng Guang raised an eyebrow, leaned closer, stood on tiptoe to look at his face, and said, "What are you afraid of?"

"I'm not afraid of anything." The sundial turned away from her, which only made people think he was trying to cover something up.

She found him incredibly cute and couldn't help but move closer to him. "Am I that scary? Why don't you want to look at me?"

“I…” Sundial said the word “I” and then shut his mouth. He turned around again, determined not to look at her no matter what.

Feng Guang was in a great mood. She reached out and grabbed one of his fingers. He stiffened. She suppressed a laugh and said, "Priest, you seem quite innocent."

The sundial jerked his hand away as if struck by lightning, only to have her grab his other hand. He had no choice but to look down at her, only to see her happy smile. His face grew even hotter, but he had no desire to pull his hand away again.

Seeing him suddenly looking at her so seriously, Feng Guang paused, and she couldn't help but put away her frivolous attitude. Slowly, her cheeks turned red.

"Gorgeous scenery!"

A sudden sound startled both of them. Fengguang and Rigui simultaneously let go of each other's hands, each taking a step away from the other, pretending nothing had happened as they watched the person get off the carriage.

The girl, dressed in a lake-blue outfit, looked charming and adorable. She jumped out of the car and exclaimed excitedly, "Fengguang, it really is you!"

This person was naturally Hua Zhouzhou, and she was accompanied by a man who seemed to have a very arrogant attitude.

Hua Zhouzhou looked at the sundial again and said with surprise, "What are you doing here? Weren't you...?"

"Hua Zhouzhou!" Feng Guang cleverly interrupted Hua Zhouzhou, walked over with a smile and hugged her, saying loudly, "I didn't expect to see you here! It's really fate that we met!"

Hua Zhouzhou didn't even care about the sundial anymore. She said happily, "Isn't that right? I thought I was the only one who had traveled here. I never expected to meet you, Feng Guang. I'm so happy!"

Actually, the two of them weren't particularly close in class, but because they met in a foreign land, their relationship inevitably progressed rapidly.

The man beside Hua Zhouzhou spoke up, "Does the goddess know this young lady?"

“Yes, I know her. She’s my friend, Xia Fengguang.” Hua Zhouzhou then looked at the sundial and introduced, “And this is…”

“He’s my brother.” Feng Guang interrupted Hua Zhouzhou again, and then winked at her.

Although Hua Zhouzhou was naive, she was not stupid. She did not forget that the sundial was a priest of Dongyang Kingdom, so she changed her words and said, "That's right, the two siblings are my friends."

"And who is this?" Sundial looked at the man next to Hua Zhouzhou.

The man replied, "My name is Xingji."

Hua Zhouzhou said, "Xingji is the high priest of the Southern Color Kingdom."
