"Rong Qing? It's you!" Shi Lan jumped up from the couch in surprise. Cui Zhi was busy fixing her hair and didn't notice. By the time she realized it, it was too late. Shi Lan gasped as she was pulled.
Rong Qing gave Cui Zhi a cold glance.
Cuizhi felt a chill run from the top of her head to the soles of her feet, making her shiver involuntarily.
Shi Lan casually tugged at her hair, slipped on her shoes, and leaned against the window, asking, "How did you know I was here?"
Rong Qing smiled slightly, his usually cold and gloomy face blossoming with a beauty like the spring moon and autumn dawn.
"I guessed."
Shi Lan pouted.
I glanced at the big tree directly opposite the window. The night was hazy, the sky was pitch black, a gentle breeze blew, and the branches swayed slightly. A figure leaned against the trunk, seemingly there but not quite.
“You’ve come at the perfect time, I was just looking for you,” Shi Lan said, leaning against the window and waving at him on tiptoe.
Rong Qing took two steps forward and stood in front of him, saying, "You're looking for me? Do you need me to do something for you?"
Hearing this, Shi Lan felt a little embarrassed, as if she only thought of him when she needed his help.
"No, I wanted to thank you," Shi Lan pursed her lips and said, "Sweet Leaf and Sweet Fruit have been a great help to me during this time, and I've been wanting to thank you."
Rong Qing looked at her suspiciously, then glanced at the faint crescent moon in the sky.
What's going on here? This chubby kid, who always abandons his supporters after crossing the river, is actually thanking me.
Seeing his expression, Shi Lan glared at him and said, "I'm serious."
Rong Qing looked at her bright, dark eyes and chubby, pink cheeks, and felt a warmth in his heart. "If you want to thank me, then show some sincerity."
Upon hearing the sincerity, Shi Lan immediately glared at him warily and said, "What do you want? I don't have any money to give you."
Rong Qing chuckled, "No need for money. I've discovered a great place, and I was just thinking it would be too boring to enjoy it alone. You can come with me there."
