Chapter 123 The Scheme of the Woman Who Slaughtered the Family (The End)

The man made a muffled 'gurgling' sound, blood and foam flowed from his mouth, and he collapsed to the ground with a 'thud'.

The person standing next to him stared wide-eyed in disbelief; he hadn't expected this chubby little guy to be so amazing.

Shi Lan raised the corners of her mouth, showing her white teeth, revealing an innocent and cute smile.

The man felt a chill run down his spine, and fear surged within him. But he was quick-witted and turned his eyes to look behind him. Qi Yundi was staring coldly at them, his gaze filled with the ruthless indifference of someone in a superior position.

The man gritted his teeth, let out a low shout, and used the most powerful move in his family's signature technique, Flying Clouds Probing the Moon.

Shi Lan tried to dodge the thin sword that came at her side, but the sword seemed to have eyes and slashed horizontally from her waist toward her thigh.

Shi Lan touched the ground with one foot, and like a roc spreading its wings, she suddenly took off from the ground, flipped in mid-air, and easily stood on the tip of the cold, gleaming sword.

Upon seeing this, the man was greatly alarmed and hurriedly tried to turn his sword around.

Shi Lan wasn't about to give him a chance. She stomped her little foot hard, and the tip of her sword, unable to withstand the force, fell straight to the ground. The man staggered forward, and a glint of cold light, as if cutting tofu, pierced through his chest, leaving a few drops of blood.

As more attackers came from around, Shi Lan became even more swift in her attacks, and before she knew it, five or six people had fallen in front of her.

Shi Lan was somewhat smug. She turned to look at Rong Qing, only to see more than a dozen bodies lying in front of him.

Shi Lan pouted, her smile vanished, her face tightened, and her hands became even more ruthless.

Qi Yundi felt a little panicked when he saw that his men had been reduced by more than half in just a few exchanges.

Seeing this, the person next to him whispered a few words in his ear.

Qi Yundi turned his head to look at her, a strange expression on his face, and nodded after a while.

The person turned their head and raised their fair, delicate finger, gesturing towards the distance.

Shi Lan, with her sharp eyes, immediately noticed the scars on the person's wrist and the unique lines of a woman, confirming her suspicion that the person must be Shi Lan.

She had seen that scar before, though only briefly, but enough for someone who always pays attention.

A figure in blue stepped through the wheat fields and shot straight towards them like an arrow. Shi Lan pursed her lips and raised her hand to block.

Rong Qing sensed the murderous aura that was different from others, turned around to protect Shi Lan, and blocked the man's attack in mid-air.

The man in blue caught his block without losing his composure. He flipped in mid-air, moving like a swallow, and attacked again.

Rong Qing swung his arm to block the longsword, then took two steps forward, aiming straight for the man's face.

The person was quite agile, rolling on the spot and narrowly avoiding the attack.

Rong Qing narrowed his eyes, his anger rising again.

Rong Qing was most proud of his agility and quick movements. This person's repeated provocations had stirred up his pride.

Seeing the two fighting so fiercely, Shi Lan stepped aside to protect them while also dealing with the overconfident one who tried to launch a sneak attack.

Qi Yundi's face showed anxiety as he saw his men dwindling in number.

The person beside her waved again. Shi Lan had been keeping an eye on that person out of the corner of her eye, and upon seeing her movement, she immediately became alert.

The wheat rippled, and two more people flew out from behind her, one wielding a sword and the other a bow.

Shi Lan glanced at Rong Qing, who was fighting with someone, and took a step forward to block the swordsman who was rushing towards Rong Qing.

The swordsman seemed to have anticipated this, and Shi Lan's obstruction only made him pause for a moment. Then, in a reckless manner, he continued to attack Rong Qing with the arrow that Shi Lan had plunged into his chest.

Shi Lan was not about to let him succeed. She immediately kicked off with her little leg, and the small figure shot out like a cannonball, knocking the man away.

The archer bends his knees slightly, pulls the bowstring taut with his strong arms, and then gently releases it.

Three sharp arrows, accompanied by an almost inaudible whistling sound, spun in a triangular pattern and shot straight towards Rong Qing's back.

Rong Qing was highly vigilant. While being entangled by the man in blue, he also kept an eye on his surroundings. Knowing that danger was approaching from behind, he quickly forced the man back two steps. Unexpectedly, someone recklessly rushed forward and grabbed his leg. Rong Qing stabbed him with his backhand, killing him instantly.

Unexpectedly, even though the other person was dead, his hand refused to let go. Rong Qing struggled, but for a moment he couldn't move his feet.

After Shi Lan finished dealing with the swordsman, she stood still, panting. When she turned around and saw the scene, she was so shocked that she lost her mind and immediately turned around and rushed to Rong Qing's back.

With a few soft hissing sounds, Shi Lan's plump body trembled.

Rong Qing froze, his eyes widened suddenly, and with a flick of his longsword, he severed the man's arm before turning to look at Shi Lan.

Shi Lan collapsed onto the ground like soft mud.

A series of light and quick footsteps approached from afar, arriving in an instant.

There were only a few people, just over twenty, wearing soft armor and masks.

Upon seeing Rong Qing and the scene before him, the leader immediately drew his sword and engaged the man in black in battle without saying a word. Several others formed a circle around him, protecting Rong Qing.

Soon, the men in black fell to the ground like wheat being cut down by a knife.

Upon seeing this, Qi Yundi became extremely anxious and hurriedly turned and fled.

Rong Qing smiled coldly. His beloved chubby baby's life was already uncertain, so how could he possibly let this culprit go?

With a slight movement of the soft sword, a sharp light shot through the air.

Qi Yundi was also skilled in martial arts. Sensing the danger behind him, he didn't hesitate and pulled the person next to him to shield him.

With a 'hiss', the man groaned. Qi Yundi, hearing the unusual sound, turned around and looked apologetically. "Sorry, I didn't mean to," he said, then turned and left without looking back, leaving the man behind and taking his guards with him.

The man he had abandoned staggered to the ground, coughed up blood with difficulty, and lay on his back with a self-deprecating smile, awaiting his final judgment.

Rong Qing held Shi Lan, who was coughing up blood, in his arms and called her name softly.

Shi Lan gasped for breath twice and forced a smile. "Rong Qing, I'm afraid I can't make it."
