In that instant, the man thought of many things, and in the end, he could only let out a deep sigh.
"Why did you bring me here?" Shi Lan asked tremblingly, hugging her shoulders and looking around timidly.

The man sighed, as if he had something difficult to say.
Shi Lan asked knowingly, "Were you coerced?"
The man did not answer, but a woman's voice drifted from behind him in the distance.

Upon hearing the woman's voice, the man suddenly turned around and ran towards the source of the sound.
He ran while shouting, "Where's my son? You promised to give me my son if you brought him here!"
The woman's soft laughter echoed in the empty factory. "Don't worry, I'm not interested in your son. Once this matter is over, I'll let your son come back."
The man stopped, looked around, and said angrily, "I've done everything you asked me to do, what more do you want from me?"
The woman did not answer. Shi Lan quickly scanned the entire area, her ears keenly picking up every subtle sound. Finally, she heard the sound of heels hitting the ground from diagonally above.
