Looking out from Shi Lan's position, one can vaguely see a bright red color.
Shi Lan squinted and examined it closely, confirming that it was the luster reflected from the shoe upper.
Shi Lan quickly stepped forward and winked at the man.
The man paused for a moment, then took half a step forward, grabbed Shi Lan, and hid the two of them behind a machine not far away. He said, "Since you're not sincere, then I'll send her back. I also want to know what Young Master Ning will do when he finds out someone is eyeing his wife."
Shi Lan obediently followed the man back, her gaze fixed on the upper diagonal.
The two took a few steps back, and the man on top clearly lost his composure and shouted for them to stop.
The man paused, turned around, and heard the woman say angrily, "Your son is in the trash can behind the factory."
The man released his grip and looked at Shi Lan.
Shi Lan smiled slightly at him and nodded reassuringly.
The man said in a very low voice, "Be careful, I'll be right back," and then ran straight outside.
The heavy iron gate creaked open, revealing the bright sunlight outside.
Shi Lan narrowed her eyes slightly, raised her head and said, "Come out."
A vibrant red lightly brushed the ground as she slowly descended the metal steps, gradually revealing her long, fair legs, alluring body, and flamboyant, bright face.
Shi Lan chuckled softly, and said with certainty, "It really is you."
The woman descended the last step, turned around, and looked at Shi Lan.
Only today did she finally take this woman, whom she had never taken seriously, seriously.
Shi Lan slightly raised her chin, generously allowing her to look her up and down.
"So? After looking for so long, have you figured out why Ning Yuze likes me?"
Shi Lan smiled and said something that really touched people's hearts.
Zhou Lisha's face contorted in a grimace, and she suddenly thrust out the weapon she had been clutching, pointing it at Shi Lan.
"What difference does it make whether we find him or not? After today, it won't matter how much he likes him."
Upon seeing the dark muzzle of the gun, Shi Lan was stunned for a moment.
She hadn't expected this woman to be so crazy, actually bringing a gun.
Shi Lan quickly assessed the distance between the two of them and the several machines nearby, rapidly calculating a solution in her mind.
After a moment, she smiled slightly and took half a step forward.
“Fine, go ahead and kill me. Ning Yuze will remember me for the rest of his life. In his heart, you will always be the murderer who killed the woman he loved most. Even if it takes him his whole life, he will still kill you.”
Zhou Lisha chuckled, her face filled with a reckless madness: "Fine, let him come. I'd be happy even if I died at his hands."
Shi Lan looked at her in disbelief.
It's true that you can't live without being obsessed; loving someone to the point of being willing to be killed is a certain level of perfection.
In an instant, Shi Lan thought of that evil creature. After Mo Yun regained consciousness, it was the same thing that killed her. Not only was she not angry, but she also declared that it would definitely be hers.
Shi Lan suddenly became wary of Zhou Lisha, and as she moved slowly, she said, "So you're not going to take care of your father anymore?"
Zhou Lisha frowned and hesitated for a moment.
Shi Lan seized the opportunity and quickly stepped forward.
Zhou Lisha warily pointed her gun at Shi Lan, and even fired a shot to intimidate her.
As she saw her finger pull the trigger, Shi Lan immediately fell to the ground and rolled away, using the momentum to hide behind the machine.
A dull, violent sound echoed through the factory; the bullet seemed to have struck a metal surface with a clang.
Shi Lan leaned against the cold machine, staring at the tiny black hole about the size of a little finger two meters away, her back feeling damp and cold.
That was incredibly close! Luckily, she reacted quickly and was quite agile; otherwise, she would be lying in a pool of blood by now.
Thinking of that outcome, Shi Lan was instantly enraged. With a powerful kick, she sprang up, circled around to the other side of the machine, and swung straight at the back of her head.
Zhou Lisha was stunned for a moment, probably because it was the first time she had used such a highly lethal weapon.
She only snapped back to reality when Shi Lan's palm transformed into a blade and slashed at her shoulder.
Overwhelmed by pain, her body swayed, and she couldn't help but scream as she fell to the side. Upon landing, she forced herself to turn around and raised her arm to fire another shot.
Shi Lan had just landed when she saw this and quickly turned around, trying to dodge.
However, bullets are much faster than body movements. Even though she tried her best to dodge, the bullet still grazed her shoulder, and a burning sensation immediately spread throughout her body.
Shi Lan groaned and staggered backward. Strangely, Zhou Lisha also let out a wail at the same time.
Shi Lan felt something was off, but she didn't have time to look. She quickly ran to the side because Zhou Lisha, who was trembling, had raised her gun again.
Deadly bullets whistled towards her, and Shi Lan quickly dodged twice in a zigzag pattern, successfully hiding behind a machine against the wall.
Zhou Lisha scrambled to her feet, groaned twice, and then chuckled, "Hiding is useless. Today, it's either you or me who dies." She swayed and took two strange steps, saying, "No, it's only you who dies. How could I die?" She laughed maniacally and fired two more shots in Shi Lan's direction.
The bullet made a screeching sound as it scraped against metal. Shi Lan tilted her head and frowned.
With her fingers lightly touching the machine, Shi Lan slowly stood up, hid behind another machine on the side, then moved to the side of that machine and circled back to the front of the machine she had just been with.
At that moment, Zhou Lisha had just walked to the side of the machine, completely unaware that her prey had moved behind her.
Shi Lan gritted her teeth. In this life-or-death situation, she couldn't afford to be soft-hearted. With lightning speed, she made a fist with all five fingers, and her thumb pierced through the space between two of them, striking her in the back.
