Shi Lan pondered for a moment, then poured another half-cup of water and said, "Don't drink too much."
Haoze, his eyes glazed over, drank the wine, then suddenly grabbed her hand and asked, "Who exactly are you?"
Shi Lan's heart skipped a beat as she pondered how to answer. After all, Haoze had not yet regained his consciousness, and she had not yet regained her appearance. Even if she said she was Shi Lan, she had to make him believe her.
The pressure on her hands grew heavier without her realizing it. Shi Lan turned her head and realized that Hao Ze had already closed his eyes, and the aroma of wine wafted between them with his breath.
Shi Lan took a deep breath, bent down, and carefully carried out her secret tryst, then quietly slipped away to keep her distance before Haoze woke up.
Watching the oblivious Haoze walk away, Shi Lan irritably picked up the jade pendant from her skirt.
"Fat Fish, how much longer until we can use the Mirage Grass?"
The fat fish revealed itself, blowing bubbles. "Pretty sister, don't worry, it should be ready in a few more days."
Shi Lan frowned as she looked at the grass roots tangled around its tail, feeling quite helpless.
Five days passed in the blink of an eye, and the fat fish finally spat out its mouth, ready to be used to make the 'potion'.
Shi Lan was overjoyed. Just as she was planning to restore her true appearance and expose the fake Lan, Hao Ze brought news that he would be leaving for a few days and asked her for some wine, wanting to share it with the other gods.
Shi Lan was somewhat reluctant. The wine was already brewed in small quantities, and if it were given to someone else, how could she continue those blush-inducing activities?
However, since Haoze rarely spoke to her, she couldn't refuse him no matter what.
After thinking it over, Shi Lan took a palm-sized wine pot, poured a pot of wine, and handed it to him.
