Chapter 133 The Ungrateful Fiancée 3

Xie Ming arrived in May of the second semester of his junior year of high school. Two months later, during the summer vacation, he would be engaged to Wei Yaxi.

He was so disgusted by being engaged to such a thing that he came a little early.

In his past life, he was afraid that Yan Lei would affect his studies, so he kept an eye on her homework every day. He never expected that he would become a dragon in her eyes.

He doesn't care if she dies in this lifetime!

He rushed into the classroom and saw Lin Shuer and Yan Lei facing each other.

Seeing that Yan Lei was blocking her way and wouldn't move aside, and seeing that Wei Yaxi was still copying her answers, Lin Shuer felt a surge of anger rising to her head, and reached out to snatch the answers away forcefully.

When Yan Lei saw Lin Shu'er start to make a move, he immediately became anxious and grabbed her arm, using his momentum to throw her onto the shelf by the wall.

Xie Ming frowned and rushed forward to protect the person.

Lin Shu'er had just snatched half of the test paper when she was shoved aside forcefully, thinking she was going to crash into the metal frame behind her. She closed her eyes in fear, but instead of the expected pain, she bumped into a warm embrace.

First, a faint scent of ink wafted into her nose, followed by the fresh aroma of wood. It smelled so good and so comforting. She couldn't help but look up at Xie Ming and call out, "Dad!"

The surrounding noise paused for a moment, then bursts of laughter came through. Lin Shu'er realized what was happening and her face immediately turned bright red!

Xie Ming's back stiffened; he hadn't expected him to be so "fatherly"!

"A teacher for a day is a father for life"—the ancients were right!

Xie Ming cleared his throat, straightened the girl's body, and asked, "Are you injured anywhere?"

"Thank you, teacher. I'm fine."

The teacher's voice was pleasant and warm, and as soon as the embarrassment subsided, Lin Shu'er's eyes immediately welled up with tears.

The two people next to them, fearing that the homeroom teacher was showing favoritism, quickly stood up and called for help.

"Thank you, Teacher!"

"Thank you, Teacher!"

Wei Yaxi's gaze remained cold and indifferent; she believed that Xie Ming would definitely side with her whenever she was involved. Yan Lei, on the other hand, panicked a bit, after all, he had just made a move.

"Tell me what the situation is."

Xie Ming asked in Yan Lei's direction, his voice stern and cold.

"Lin Shu'er is bullying Wei again..."

"So you went and hit on a female classmate? You used one girl to curry favor with another? Fine! That's manly enough!"

Xie Ming didn't let him continue, interrupting him. After finishing, he put down his textbook, gave him a thumbs-up, and his tone was full of sarcasm. Then he turned to the surrounding students and launched into a tirade: "And all of you, you've all wasted your education! Lin Shu'er is not only your classmate but also your future colleague and family. Classmates are like brothers and sisters. How can you be so blind to right and wrong and so self-protective when facing someone you've been with day and night? Is this how you plan to serve your country in the future?"

The students watching all lowered their heads in shame. Just imagine, how were they any different from Yan Lei, since it was none of their business?

"Teacher, I was wrong!" A tall boy stood up, his face flushed, and loudly admitted his mistake.

Then, one by one, more people stood up and admitted their mistakes.

Xie Ming nodded and said, "No one can bully our classmates or our siblings without reason. Fear of power and cowardice should never be the foundation of your conduct."

After he finished speaking, Wei Yaxi felt that Xie Ming was implying that she and Yan Lei were not decent people, and she couldn't help but retort, "Teacher Xie is not like that."

Xie Ming scoffed, "You mean it's right to copy other people's exam papers, but wrong for them not to let you copy? It would be great if you were the Minister of Education; all the students in the country would be offering you incense and making offerings."

The surrounding students burst into laughter upon hearing this.

Yan Lei gave him a single glance, and everyone immediately fell silent, as if he were the teacher.

However, inspired by Xie Ming's earlier enthusiasm, a petite girl immediately retorted, "What are you glaring at? Just because you have big eyes doesn't mean you are."

Then many more students chimed in, and seeing this, Xie Ming regained confidence in his students. Yan Lei gritted his teeth and dared not utter another sound.

"You! You're bullying me!"

Wei Yaxi looked around as if struck by lightning. With red eyes, she covered her mouth like a timid wife and rushed out of the back classroom door.

Yan Lei was heartbroken and gritted his teeth as he ran out after him.

Xie Ming ignored the person who ran out and said to the people around him, "Lin Shuer, go back to your seat. Let's get ready for class."

He had barely finished speaking when the school bell rang outside.

Standing back on the front-row podium, gazing at the youthful faces in his seat, Xie Ming's body trembled slightly, and his voice sounded a little stiff when he put on his headset.

He steadied himself, cleared his throat, and said, "Classmates, this is Lin Shu'er's test paper. I think she can get a perfect score of 100, but she's the best in the class, and everyone else is scrambling to get her. This is the tragedy of Class 2! You're about to enter your senior year of high school, do you really want to go into the college entrance exam with scores like this?"

"In no mood!"

The students' answers were scattered.

"Say it louder!"

"In no mood!"

"Make it louder!"

"In no mood!"

"Make it louder!"

"In no mood!"

The last shout was almost shouted by the entire class.

"Alright! A gentleman's promise is as heavy as a thousand pounds, so I hope you will all keep your word. So starting today, I will prepare a test paper for you every two days, and you must understand all the questions. I will record the solution process of the test paper into a video. If you don't understand the video, call me. My phone is on standby 24 hours a day. Also, when you go back tonight, tell your parents to go online at 7 o'clock for a college entrance examination mobilization meeting."

After he finished speaking, the students below began to feel a chill run down their spines.

Xie Ming smiled wickedly: It feels so good to be a homeroom teacher!
