Chapter 148 Picking Up the Little Succubus 8

She had studied all these books before? Had she learned so much without even realizing it?

These are all very basic things, can't you just read a book and learn them? Why do you need to wait for a teacher to teach you?

Ye Jiu handed the book in her hand to Luo Rui'an next to her, "Do you know how to do all of this?"

Lorian took the book, flipped through the table of contents, and nodded. "Except for magic I don't have elemental affinity for, I can do everything else."

Ye Jiu nodded. She thought to herself, "These are all very basic things."

Ye Jiu was having a pleasant conversation with Luo Rui'an when a girl sat down at the table in front of her.

The girl had barely sat down when she turned around and struck up a conversation with Ye Jiu, "Hello, my name is Vivian, may I get to know you?"

"Of course, my name is Ye Jiu, nice to meet you." After Ye Jiu finished speaking, she noticed that Vivian's deskmate was empty, so she asked her, "Didn't you bring anyone with you?"

She smiled knowingly, "I brought him. He went to the restroom." Then she turned to look at Luo Rui'an next to Ye Jiu, "You have good taste. He's very handsome."

Ye Jiu was puzzled. "What does his good looks have to do with my taste?"

Vivian asked in surprise, "Didn't you choose him?"

Ye Jiu found it even stranger. Why use the word "pick"? Oh no, it seems normal for the young lady to pick out a good-looking one from among the male servants at home.

Ye Jiu: "I guess so..."

Vivian noticed Lorian's eyes and ears and asked curiously, "Is he an elf?"

Ye Jiu didn't know how to answer. Should she tell the truth or admit it? Just as Ye Jiu hesitated, Luo Rui'an spoke up.

"Mixed-race".

Vivian's eyes widened, seemingly very interested in the topic. "A hybrid of an elf and something?!"

"Succubus... Succubus."

Ye Jiu could clearly feel the light in her eyes. She excitedly stood up and grabbed Ye Jiu's shoulders, "Where did you find such a gem! Which auction house? I want to go see it too!"

She then focused her gaze on Lorrian's face, scrutinizing him closely. "His face is absolutely perfect! And he's a succubus!! My God! He's absolutely stunning!"

"Please, Ye Jiu, I really need the name of this auction house. Please, just tell me."

Ye Jiu looked bewildered. "But... he wasn't. I bought it."

Vivian was even more incredulous. "Did your family raise him?! Do you have such a rare breed in your family? Let me see him! I can offer a lot of money! I've always wanted a mixed-race like him!"

Ye Jiu: "Um... he wasn't raised by my family either. I rescued him, um, I picked him up."

Vivian covered her head. "My God, what kind of luck is this! It's like winning the lottery! I've searched through so many auctions and never found a hybrid like him. I've always thought that the hybrids of elves and succubi are the most desirable, but I've never encountered such a gem in all these years! And you, you just picked up the gem I've been dreaming of on the street!"

"You're giving me the feeling that all the money I've spent over the years has been wasted!"

After Vivian finished venting, Ye Jiu asked in a low voice, "Are there really places that auction off mixed-race individuals? And why would you buy one?"

Vivian was stunned after hearing this. She sat back down and looked at Ye Jiu seriously. "Are you really unaware or are you pretending?"

"What am I pretending for? Why should I pretend?" Ye Jiu was even more confused; what was all this about?

"Don't tell me you brought him here not to do anything."

Ye Jiu tactically covered her mouth. She suddenly understood why some people dressed like that, and also why all the servants were so beautiful. She lowered her voice, "What if I said yes?"

"Hiss." Vivian gasped. "Which family are you from that you're so naive? Didn't your parents tell you about the unspoken rules of Celt Magic Academy?"

"No, nobody told me."

She glanced at Luo Rui'an next to Ye Jiu, "You don't know either?"

Lorrian shook his head; how would he know?

Vivian pondered for a moment, then said, "Then you must not be locals!"

Ye Jiu nodded readily, "Yes, we are indeed not Ascarians."

Vivian clapped her hands. "That's right, every local knows this."

"Can you tell me in detail?" Ye Jiu asked, looking like a curious child.

Lorian's ears had already turned red when Vivian said "do," and now he felt his face burning up too, so he kept his eyes down and pretended to be indifferent.

"Let me think about how to tell you. Well, besides taking care of us, this servant mainly serves to satisfy our desires. Since the Celt Magic Academy was mainly funded by the various families of Ascaria, a large portion of the students are also from the younger generation of these families. The school can't afford to offend these wealthy and powerful families, so they satisfy all their reasonable requests. However, as history has progressed, the families' influence in the academy has diminished, and many of their requests have been changed. Only this servant has been retained."

"It is said that this is because it helps students focus more on their studies, and it has gradually evolved into an unspoken rule."

Vivian paused to catch her breath and continued, "Because they can directly enter this top human magic academy to study as servants, many beautiful girls try to seduce students who have received their acceptance letters before enrollment."

"As for mixed-race individuals, that's a matter of personal preference. Most mixed-race individuals inherit all the characteristics of both parents, and the combination of the two produces amazing results. Many nobles, for their own curiosity, like me, like to see elves mixed with any race. Oh, except for dwarves, I really don't know what kind of person would like the appearance of dwarves."
