She had seen the fight just now, and it was true that these people were not very skilled. Ye Jiu felt that it would be easy for her to get first place.
As expected, Ye Jiu easily defeated a bunch of people with her skillful use of low-level magic, fighting her way to the final round from morning to afternoon.
This made Ye Jiu's Eastern face famous throughout the school.
First, Potions Master Aurora escorted her to school, then Headmaster Eldrek personally greeted her, and finally, her extraordinary magical talent made her unforgettable to everyone in her grade.
The final is scheduled for the next day, allowing the top three teams to go back and rest for a night before the decisive battle.
Vivian's attitude towards Ye Jiu changed from initially thinking that the two were about the same level to admiring him to the point of prostration.
As the crowd dispersed, she and her servant Ed squeezed to Ye Jiu's side, each occupying one side of Ye Jiu's body with Lorian.
"Ye Jiu! You're amazing! You defeated them all so easily in the ring! Especially you, you actually defeated Simpra!" Vivian exclaimed excitedly. "Simpra is my nemesis! Her unhappiness makes me happy. Hey, that arrogant jerk has finally been punished."
"Our talents are practically equal, but she always manages to beat me! I can accept losing, it's not like I can't handle it! But she always sneaks up on me! It's so shameless!" Vivian grew angrier as she spoke, finally stomping her foot angrily. "I just saw it! She tried to use some cheap trick on you! Luckily you reacted quickly and knocked her down!"
Vivian, like a happy little bird, chirped and chattered to Ye Jiu, describing Simpra's expression at that moment.
Ye Jiu just laughed when she heard this. She hadn't noticed anything when she faced this person, only that the person looked at her fiercely after she stepped off the stage, looking very unwilling.
After laughing enough, Vivian changed the subject, "However, Ye Jiu, you should be careful. She's very petty and might retaliate against you. After all, I used to be frequently pranked by her, which was disgusting and annoying! I only managed to escape danger thanks to my intelligence."
Ye Jiu nodded. "Thank you for reminding me. I will pay attention."
Indeed, that person's appearance didn't suggest someone who could afford to lose.
"Then you should go back and rest early! Tomorrow, take first place! Then let me see what this legendary multi-element potion looks like!" Vivian patted Ye Jiu on the shoulder. "I'm going back to my dorm too."
"Okay." Ye Jiu and she parted ways and returned to their respective dormitories.
Ye Jiu and Luo Rui'an walked back to their dormitory side by side. Suddenly, Ye Jiu asked him, "Do you want this multi-element potion?"
Lorian declined, "Thank you, but I don't need it. Adding another element won't make a difference to me, and... in my current state, it's better to use only one element."
Pure-blooded elves have an extremely high affinity for the wood element, ignoring all other elements, and their wood magic is incredibly powerful.
"That's right. If you don't want it, fine. I'll keep it and study its formula. It must be very expensive. If I figure it out, I'll be rich." Ye Jiu thought it was a good idea. Yes, that's what I'll do!
The finals began quickly the following day, and one person was given a bye in the first round of the draw. This good fortune fell on Ye Jiu.
She sat not far from the arena, carefully observing the two men's habits of using magic.
This was the first match she was able to sit down and watch attentively.
Of the ten arenas yesterday, only one remains today. Ye Jiu deduced that these arenas were all created with magic, and could be created or removed at will. Even the audience seats only appeared suddenly today. Magic is indeed convenient.
The match began amidst great anticipation.
The showdown between Joan and Wayne.
Vivian dutifully acted as Ye Jiu's director, "This girl is called Qiong. She is skilled in water magic. She has a special move called Water Cage Magic, which can imprison people in a water cage, leaving them only able to defend passively. I was eliminated by her, sob sob. I hadn't even played a few rounds before it was over."
"The boy's name is Wayne. He is skilled in metal magic and has great control over metal. Unfortunately, there is no magic available in this arena, which greatly reduces his strength. However, I didn't expect him to make it this far under such circumstances."
Ye Jiu pondered for a moment, "Then who do you think will win?"
Vivian scratched her head, "Anything is possible. They're all so amazing, I can't guess who's the best. But they're definitely not as good as you, Ye Jiu! I believe you'll definitely be number one!"
"Thank you for your kind words."
The two fighters on stage were locked in a fierce battle, exchanging colorful magic spells. After watching carefully for a few minutes, Ye Jiu concluded that Wayne would win. He was clearly holding back, his movements were methodical, while Joan was already starting to panic.
Ye Jiu yawned, somewhat like a child playing house. Perhaps she should apply to skip a grade, but unfortunately the admission handbook stated that skipping grades was not allowed. The academy teachers firmly believed that one should learn magic at the appropriate age, and learning ahead of time would only weaken one's foundation.
"My God!" Vivian suddenly jumped up from her seat and exclaimed, "Joan won! That was amazing! She actually chanted the spell twice in such a short time, and Wayne didn't even have time to react! Good heavens!"
Ye Jiu paused, somewhat surprised. That girl won?
She also stood up to look at the situation in the ring. Indeed, Wayne had fallen to the ground, and Joan was standing in the middle of the ring, raising her arms and cheering.
Ye Jiu smoothed out the wrinkles on her clothes, left the audience seats and walked towards the ring; she was next.
After the referee announces the result of the match, there will be a ten-minute halftime break. Ye Jiu will do some warm-up exercises to get himself into the game.
Ten minutes can feel fast or slow. Ye Jiu had just finished warming up when the teacher called out her name.
