Chapter 30 Reborn as a Dragon in the Zombie World (Part 1)

The original body could only be identified as a teenager, but its face and body were swollen to varying degrees, like a long-dead corpse. Some of the larger swollen areas had even burst, splattering out scarlet blood.

It was the blood that splattered out that infected the researchers in the base during the initial evaporation process. By the time someone realized something was wrong, it was too late. The mutated J virus had spread, and the zombification of the base's researchers was unavoidable.

In Long Xun's memory, in the original story, Long Xun was chased by zombies and fled to this room. Because of the danger of the original body opposite the observation room, this room was the most sealed, and the virus did not evaporate into this room.

The researchers' zombification truly broke the sealed J virus. In the base that was not sealed in time, the J virus spread to the outside world and quickly spread all over the world... and so the apocalypse came.

As Long pondered, the light in the room suddenly flickered.

When the lights came on again, the person who should have been lying in bed was gone. Instead, a swollen face covered in green blood was pressed against the glass, and the eyes, squeezed into narrow slits by the swelling, stared straight at Long Xun through the glass!

If it were an ordinary person, they would have been scared to death by this sudden turn of events, but Long Xun just looked at him calmly, seemingly lost in thought.

The swollen boy, who was pressed against the glass, tilted his head slightly. The next second, countless veins suddenly bulged on his face, and a terrifying force burst forth from his hands. He pressed hard against the glass and opened his mouth to let out a silent shriek.

The incredibly sturdy glass, manufactured using cutting-edge technology, developed spiderweb-like cracks amidst the violent tremors, before shattering into countless fragments.

The terrifying boy, whose appearance was horribly altered by the J virus, darted over at a speed invisible to the naked eye. Almost as soon as the glass shattered, Long Xun felt his body sink; the boy coiled into a ball, lithely wrapped around him. A forced smile appeared on his swollen, horribly distorted face, and he mumbled something incoherently in his throat: "Long...Long..."

Long Xun suddenly stopped his movement of throwing him off.
