The First World (Part Two)

In the simple yet luxurious bedroom, a handsome young man was sleeping on the bed with a furrowed brow, his face already soaked with sweat, and tears streaming from his tightly closed eyes.

Unable to comprehend the incomprehensible, chaotic, and absurd images that silently appeared in his dreams, only to slowly fade away again, blurry and indistinct. He had a premonition that those things were important, yet he couldn't grasp them in his dreams.

The silver and white necklace around his neck appeared briefly, then disappeared again.

The chaos of the dream suddenly receded like the tide, leaving only a pair of pale golden vertical pupils looking down quietly, like a god.

A sudden, excruciating pain, as if his heart had been hollowed out, struck Yin Chen. He cried out and abruptly sat up in bed, clutching his chest tightly with one hand. His handsome face was covered in cold sweat, looking utterly defeated, yet tears continued to stream down his beautiful, starry eyes.

The lingering pain from losing his heart still made him tremble slightly. The boy remained in a daze for a long time before finally waking up from the nightmare, belatedly raising his head to look around.

This room is... right, he transmigrated and became a high school freshman, an arrogant and rebellious rich second-generation.

'Was it a dream?'

Yin Chen's expression shifted between light and dark. The scene from his dream had already faded from his memory, and in his hazy state, he only remembered a pair of pale gold vertical pupils that were unlike those of ordinary people.

Shaking his head violently, Yin Chen collapsed onto the bed, closing his eyes and trying to calm himself down.

'Regardless... the most important thing now is to complete the mission. I need to change my fate as cannon fodder... I like Teacher Long, and I need to stay alive so I can be with him!'

Yin Chen suddenly opened his eyes, threw off the covers, and ran barefoot off the bed. He rummaged through the desk, took out a notebook and pen, and began to write on it in a flamboyant style.

On [date], the Jiang family chose the He family in the bidding for the same project.

On [date], the Yin family was embroiled in a scandal, their stock prices fluctuated, and one of their subsidiaries was acquired by the He family.

[Date]

He wrote a full page before stopping, his hands clasped together to shield his nose, his handsome face cold and aloof, his dark eyes deep and unfathomable. The light from the small lamp on the table reflected in his eyes, making them appear even darker and more profound.

The He family is the family of the male protagonist, He Mubai. He Mubai took over the family on the day he entered high school. During his three years of high school, he led the He family to develop steadily and has firmly established himself as the head of the He family.

All these illogical parts in the novel can be explained by the fact that He Mubai is a genius.

He Mubai is now a senior in high school. In the next semester, he will return to school to study in order to take the college entrance examination. The female lead, Yu Feifei, will also transfer to Class 1 of the first year of high school at Shengguang High School because of her outstanding grades, and meet He Mubai.

Yin Chen originally thought that the Yin family had been suppressed to the point of bankruptcy. In the original novel, he, as cannon fodder, was even kidnapped and murdered because the male lead, He Mubai, was jealous of the female lead's good relationship with Yin Chen. Now it seems that... as early as two years ago, the He family had already laid a plan against the Yin family, unknowingly weakening the Yin family's power and tying up their funds.

Yin Chen shouldn't have understood these things. In his previous life, he was just an ordinary student who hadn't yet entered society and was as innocent as a little lamb. However, after that dream, Yin Chen suddenly understood many inexplicable things and figured everything out in a flash.

He Mubai was indeed jealous, but at most he just sped up the process of dealing with the Yin family, rather than starting to take action against them because of jealousy.

No wonder the Yin family, such a behemoth, fell so easily and unbelievably.

'He Mubai is indeed worthy of being the protagonist; he is truly intelligent.' Yin Chen slowly leaned back in his chair, tearing the piece of paper covered in writing into tiny pieces and throwing it into the trash can.

'Unfortunately, you're still too green... As the heir to the Yoon Group, I'm finding it hard to muster any interest in you.'

Yin Chen didn't realize that the Yin family conglomerate he was thinking of was not the same as the group company currently owned by his Yin family.

He didn't even notice the difference, and just quietly pondered how to retaliate.

...

Yin Chen was late for class again the next day.

After Long Xun stood on the podium, the classroom door was politely knocked on. Then, Yin Chen, carrying a schoolbag, pushed open the door, smiled politely at the person on the podium, and said with a bright look in his eyes: "Teacher, I'm sorry I'm late again."

He seemed different from the day before... his personality and aura were different.

Long Xun glanced at him thoughtfully, then coldly uttered a single word: "Sit."

As the class ended, Long Xun was still packing up his lesson plans when Yin Chen, with his backpack on, looked at him with intense eyes, a shy and innocent smile on his face, his cheeks slightly flushed, and said obediently like a well-behaved student, "Teacher, I need to ask for leave."

He took out a leave slip and a new pen, handing them to Long Xun with both hands. His face turned even redder, and he was inexplicably excited.

Long Xun glanced at him, the words he wanted to ask him about what had happened swirling on his tongue before he swallowed them back. Long Xun lowered his eyes, took the pen, signed his leave slip, and handed the slip and pen to him.

Yin Chen reached out and took the paper and pen, but deliberately scratched Long Xun's palm. Instantly, Long Xun's reserved smile couldn't help but reveal a lecherous look, and his eyes narrowed like a fox stealing fish.

It looks incredibly stupid.

Long Xun observed his expression without showing any emotion, pretending not to notice that he was being teased, and then packed his things and left the classroom.

Yin Chen watched intently as his beloved's tall and straight figure disappeared. He slowly picked up the pen and paper in his hand, kissed it gently, and then carefully tucked it into the inner pocket close to his heart.

After completing all these obsessive acts, Yin Chen's expression changed, and a polite, neither cold nor warm, smile appeared on his lips. In an instant, the handsome young man's aura changed, as if he had become a noble young master, exuding unparalleled nobility.
