The First World (Part Two)

Yin Chen smiled and glanced at the students who were secretly watching, then said meaningfully, "What did you just see?"

Despite the gentle tone, the students felt a sudden chill and instinctively avoided eye contact, replying, "N-nothing..."

Yin Chen smiled slightly and leisurely left the classroom.

Long after he left, someone in the classroom hesitated before speaking, "Yin Chen seems... different... Should we tell He Mubai?"

"Don't get involved in his affairs... Neither the He family nor the Yin family are people we can interfere with."

Moreover... even He Mubai couldn't match the aura of the young master of the Yin family.

It's truly uncertain who will emerge victorious in this contest between the He and Yin families.

...

As the night breeze blew, Yin Chen, exhausted from a long day, finally shed all pretense the moment he returned to his room. He rubbed his stiff smile and lazily collapsed onto the bed, unwilling to move any further.

He rolled over, lying on his back, and took out the leave slip from his pocket. Looking at the handwriting on it, which belonged to his beloved, he smiled and gently kissed it.

"What should I do... I like you more than I imagined..."

A faint sigh drifted through the room.

"Teacher, will you blame me...? If one day I can't control myself anymore... will you hate me?"

Yin Chen murmured and chuckled softly, pressing the note against his face and rubbing it gently, trying to feel the faint, almost imperceptible scent of his beloved.

"It's so strange... We've only known each other for two days, but I feel like you could never be angry with me... or hate me... This kind of certainty... is really unlike me."

Yin Chen took out his phone and found the number that his homeroom teacher had left on the first day of school. All his words were ultimately written down as: Good night, teacher, get some rest (*^__^*).

After clicking send, Yin Chen lazily took off his clothes, went into the bathroom to take a shower, and then crawled into bed to sleep.

He didn't hear it. On the balcony of his bedroom, less than a second after he sent the message, a soft notification sound suddenly rang out.

On the seemingly empty balcony, a spot of light and shadow suddenly shifted, then returned to stillness.

Only after Yin Chen fell into a deep sleep did the light and shadow gradually fade away, and a man dressed in a white retro outfit and carrying two curved swords quietly appeared.

His attire resembled that of an ancient Western Region visitor; the black and white clothing with gold trim appeared simple yet luxurious, but his right waist and abdomen were exposed, revealing his abs and navel, which was inexplicably sexy.

Beneath the hood, a strand of silver-white, slightly wavy hair fell to his chest. Half of his hood was secured to his head with gold chains and gemstones, while the other half was loose, revealing a cold and handsome face that exceeded all expectations.

He was like an ancient deity who suddenly descended into the mortal world.

Unlike any human, his vertical pupils silently gazed at the sleeping boy inside through the glass door. This handsome man, who seemed to have transcended the boundaries of time and space to come to earth as a god, took out a mobile phone, looked down at the information displayed on it, and a gentle light flowed in his dark golden vertical pupils, which washed away the dark color in his eyes.

His fingers danced across the phone screen, then he took a small step back and disappeared into the night once more, leaving no trace.

The phone in the room beeped with the sound of a text message arriving. Yin Chen wasn't woken up; he just turned over and went back to sleep.

On the phone screen lit up beside my pillow, the sender, identified as my crush, replied with just two simple words: Goodnight.

The night was so quiet and peaceful.
