The next day, the group continued their journey, and with the protection of Zhou Yang and Pan Yang, almost no one was injured.
After three days of walking, we finally arrived at the city area. The city was strange; there were traces on the buildings everywhere, but we couldn't tell what had caused them.
Furthermore, the roadside plants were all thriving, even the grass on the ground was growing very vigorously, and some wildflowers had even bloomed.
However, it was getting late, so I didn't think much of it and just found a place to stay for the night before continuing my search for the dungeon boss the next morning.
Pan Yang sat down on the ground to rest, but Zhou Yang came over again.
"Pan Yang, who do you think is K?"
"I don't know, maybe it is." Pan Yang clearly didn't want to pay attention to him and continued to ramble on.
"Really? If you kill them, you can't kill me, okay?"
"..." Pan Yang rolled his eyes: "Don't worry, if I were K, I would take care of you first."
001 roared, "Host, you can't do this! You need to give the hidden character psychological comfort! Give him endless care!"
"……"fed up!
Pan Yang covered his ears and closed his eyes. Why couldn't this world be skipped?
001: "Host, you can still hear my voice even if you cover your ears. Don't bury your head in the sand!"
"Damn it!" Fan Yang suddenly opened his eyes and looked at Zhou Yang with a look of despair: "Don't worry, you'll be fine with me here."
After saying that, he closed his eyes and continued to lie there like a corpse.
Zhou Yang looked at his series of actions with some confusion, then smiled with delight: "Pan Yang, I knew you were a good buddy!"
The next morning, everyone was awakened by a scream.
All that could be seen at the entrance was vines covering everything—no, the entire building was enveloped in vines. The sound of the vines rubbing against the building made everyone's heart clench.
A daring man walked to the door, spat, and said, "Pah! You think you can trap me with these few vines?" He then took out a large knife and chopped down, but the moment the knife touched the vines, they instantly wrapped around him and buried him alive.
Those around were stunned by what they saw, and a few seconds later they let out a deafening wail.
"What do we do? Are we going to be stuck here?! I don't want to die here!"
"I don't want to be here either, what can I do if I want to get out!"
"Packaging, this godforsaken place is the worst I've ever been in!"
"Wait a minute, Zhou Yang and Pan Yang must have a way!" A girl suddenly looked at the two who had been watching the show.
Instantly, everyone's eyes turned to him, and their gazes were filled with hope.
"You two big shots, you must have a way, right?"
Zhou Yang walked up to the vines, took out his dagger, examined it for a long time, and then slashed it down. The vines instantly swallowed the dagger.
With lightning speed, Pan Yang cut off the spreading vines and pulled Zhou Yang behind him.
The severed vines seemed to come alive and return to their original group.
Seeing this, everyone felt utterly hopeless: "Even you can't do it? We're doomed."
"No, you must have a way, right!" One of them stared at Fan Yang with bloodshot eyes, almost hysterical.
"You guys are all so amazing, and Zhou Yang is ranked fifth, how could there possibly be no way!"
Zhou Yang frowned as he looked at the man and said, "This is a high-level dungeon. These vines might be the dungeon boss. You can see that, so there's nothing I can do."
"Liar! You're definitely lying! How do you know this is the dungeon boss? Are you some kind of idiot?"
"!!!"
"Yeah, how could they not have noticed the vines, given how powerful they are? Unless they're K!"
Zhou Yang was speechless at the group's comments: "Only one person can be K, and if we do that, we'll be trapped ourselves. Wouldn't that be suicide?"
"Who knows what you guys are thinking! Maybe you're just pretending you can't win!"
"Yeah, unless you find a way to let us out, you're K! We can still clear the game even if we kill you."
"Yeah, if we kill K, we'll beat the game."
The eyes of everyone gleamed with an eerie light, reflecting the wickedness of human nature and filled with terrifying desires.
A white sword appeared in Pan Yang's hand, with traces of blood on its blade and even some reflections. The entire sword was trembling.
"I can kill you all right now." Pan Yang's tone was cold, and he seemed to exude a chilling aura. His eyes were as unfathomable as calm seawater.
The shouters immediately fell silent; they were no match for Fan Yang and his group.
"What are you doing!" Everyone turned to look.
A person slowly walked to the door, seemingly oblivious to the warnings from those around them, and was swallowed up by the vines.
"Ah!" A sharp cry completely disrupted everyone's peace of mind.
Soon, everyone around seemed to have lost their minds and were courting death.
In the end, only a delicate girl and Pan Yang and the others remained.
The girl trembled as she crouched on the ground, clutching her head: "Please, please don't kill me. I just want to live. I want to go home."
“No one is going to kill you,” Zhou Yang said, trying to comfort him.
"Thank you for not killing me." The girl's eyes were filled with tears, but she tried hard not to let them fall. "But is this where we're going to end things?"
"No, it won't happen," Zhou Yang continued to reassure her.
Suddenly, Pan Yang pointed his sword at the girl, his expression cold: "Where's the exit?"
Zhou Yang glanced at him and didn't stop him from obediently standing behind Pan Yang, looking like he knew it: "Dude, you're K, right? We agreed that if you kill them, you can't kill me, okay?"
"..."
The girl was speechless for a moment, then looked at them blankly: "What are you talking about? I don't mean any harm. I don't know where the exit is. Big brother, are you really K? Please don't kill me!"
With a light flick of his sword, Pan Yang inflicted multiple wounds on the girl's body. The girl's eyes widened in terror; they were nearly three meters apart, how could a sword wound someone from a distance?
“You are K.” Pan Yang looked at the girl coldly, without the slightest hesitation.
The girl's fear vanished upon hearing this, and she slowly stood up: "Well, you've been found out after all. I was planning to wait until you were all bewitched by the vines and sent to your deaths before I won. Tsk, not so good."
A strange smile appeared on the girl's face: "Since that's the case, I guess I'll just have to force it."
The fight was fierce and direct, and unsurprisingly, K lost.
The game system sends a message: you will be teleported to the next dungeon half an hour after completing the previous one.
Zhou Yang slumped to the ground, looking utterly defeated. "Impressive, impressive. You must be quite a remarkable person in real life too."
Pan Yang sheathed his sword, sat down, and shook his head. The original owner, that little piece of trash, would have died instantly if he came.
"When you return to the real world, don't forget me. Let's go out for drinks together then."
"Can we return to the real world?"
Zhou Yang looked at him mysteriously, then slowly said, "I don't know."
