Chapter 9 Dungeon Master 2

But before he could get far, the monster seemed to lock onto him and charged straight down.

Pan Yang pushed Song Xiao away and slid a few steps before he could stand up. The gust of air stirred up by the monster almost made Pan Yang lose his footing.

001: "Host, this seems to be the boss of the dungeon!"

"Nonsense." How could someone be so powerful if they weren't a boss? But why are so many people attacking me?

With a wave of his hand, a white sword appeared in his hand. He swung the sword down, leaving a bloody gash on the monster's body.

This seemed to enrage it; the monster roared to the sky and flapped its enormous wings to attack Fan Yang once more.

Pan Yang gripped his sword, calmly watching the monster charge forward, and surprisingly blocked the monster's attack.

The monster was knocked back a few steps, staring intently at Fan Yang, preparing to launch the next wave of attacks.

Pan Yang shook his hand, which was slightly numb from the shock, glanced at the Sword God, and frowned slightly.

The seal has not been fully broken yet.

Pan Yang looked up at the monster with a nonchalant expression. He hadn't used the original owner's skill cards much because they were basically useless speed cards.

After all, he could kill those little monsters with a wave of his hand, but this time it's a bit tricky.

Pan Yang activated his skill card, drew his sword, and charged forward. The monster came at him head-on, but the next second Pan Yang appeared behind the monster, his sword almost completely piercing through.

The monster, in pain, tried to throw away the sword, but Pan Yang used the momentum to jump onto the monster, drew his sword, and stabbed it again.

A faint red light appeared on the sword, and then the monster collapsed to the ground, lifeless, and disappeared.

Pan Yang landed on the ground and heard the game system announce that the game was completed and the next dungeon would open in half an hour.

Pan Yang's gaze fell on the figure not far away.

The man, dressed in a black trench coat, slowly walked towards Fan Yang. Only when he got closer could Fan Yang see the man's face clearly; he was very handsome, yet also very familiar.

"Hello, my name is Zhou Yang." The man's voice was cheerful, and he looked somewhat casual and even sunny.

Zhou Yang! ?

Pan Yang suddenly took a step back. Trouble! This is definitely big trouble!

Zhou Yang raised an eyebrow, thinking that Pan Yang was frightened by his intense reaction: "Don't worry, I won't hurt you. I just saw your skills. How about we cooperate in the future?"

Pan Yang took another step back, as if he were some kind of filthy thing.

001: "Hidden mission detected. Target: Zhou Yang. Protect the hidden character!"

"Damn it!" I knew it! Pan Yang couldn't help but swear.

Zhou Yang suddenly chuckled. He had wanted to cooperate with this person because he thought he was capable, but he hadn't expected that such a seemingly ordinary person could have so many emotions.

"You must be injured. If your wounds aren't treated properly, they'll carry over into the next instance." Zhou Yang took out a card from his trench coat pocket: "This is a healing card. It can help you recover from your wounds. How about that? I've shown you my sincerity."

Pan Yang took a deep breath, walked up and took the card.

Zhou Yang watched as Pan Yang took the card and smiled, "What's your name?"

"An Pan Yang." Pan Yang frowned slightly. Could it be that they weren't the same person? Or did he not have memories of the previous world?

But it doesn't matter to me, I don't care about all this nonsense anyway.

The next dungeon was soon opened.

This time, the city has turned into a vast desert, and there is only one city in the desert that is far away from Pan Yang. It is expected that the final boss should be there.

Pan Yang looked at the tasks in the instance and didn't see Song Xiao. It seemed that he had been assigned to a different instance.

Soon, Pan Yang encountered Zhou Yang. Of course, due to the 001 point roar and the healing card, Pan Yang did not immediately shake off Zhou Yang.

On the desert, two figures moved slowly, but the sand beneath them was churning.

Suddenly, some vines sprouted from the sand. Looking at the vines, Pan Yang felt impatient. So troublesome, so troublesome, so troublesome.

Perhaps it was the intense sunlight or the dry desert that made Huan Yang even more impatient. The white sword reappeared in Huan Yang's hand, this time seemingly unable to contain its excitement, while a trace of ferocity appeared on Huan Yang's body.

Zhou Yang was also getting annoyed: "Is this ever going to end? Three attacks in an hour." He took out a dagger he had redeemed from the game system and cut off a vine.

The vines were quickly dealt with, and Pan Yang sheathed his sword. He took two deep breaths and opened the game map; there was still some distance to go before reaching the city.

Zhou Yang redeemed a bottle of water from the game store, took a few sips, and tossed it to Pan Yang: "Hang in there a little longer. It's just bad luck that we ended up in the desert this time."

Pan Yang didn't mind and opened the water directly; the cool water soothed half of his irritability.

Something's wrong with this world. I didn't feel this strongly in the last instance, but now that I'm in this instance, I'm inexplicably irritable, and even the sword seems to be getting excited.

Before Pan Yang could think it through, a cry for help rang out.

"Help!" "Don't come any closer! Run! Ahhh!"

Immediately afterwards, I saw about seventeen or eighteen people running towards us from a distance.

"Run! Run!" the people shouted when they saw Pan Yang and Zhou Yang.

Pan Yang took a deep breath, patted Zhou Yang on the shoulder, and said, "Young man, I have high hopes for you!" After saying that, he solemnly took a step back and sat down on the ground to rest.

Zhou Yang sighed helplessly, twisted his wrist, and prepared to face the monster.

It was still those same vines, but after so many attacks, their attack methods were easily countered, so Zhou Yang quickly dealt with them.

The group of people thanked them profusely, almost to the point of kneeling down and kowtowing.

The last group decided to follow Zhou Yang and Pan Yang, since the two of them had emerged unscathed from the desert and Zhou Yang's name was among the top five, so following them would naturally be safe.

After walking for about a day, they finally came across a small house, and the group went in to rest and spend the night.

The desert at night is already more dangerous, and with so many monsters around, this house is undoubtedly the best place to stay.

Pan Yang and Zhou Yang sat in the corner of the room, but there was enough space for them to rest.

Pan Yang leaned against the wall, squinting as he rested.

"Did you know me before?" Zhou Yang suddenly asked, his voice so soft that only Pan Yang could hear him.

"I don't know him."

"Then why did you react so strongly when we first met?" At first, he thought that Huan Yang was afraid of him, but after spending a few days together, he found that this kid was not afraid of anything at all.

"You're so handsome!" Pan Yang said incoherently.

"Ha." Zhou Yang said with a hint of helplessness, "Actually, I felt a sense of familiarity when I first met you, as if we had known each other in a past life."

Suddenly, Pan Yang opened his eyes and met Zhou Yang's gaze. In the darkness, there was only a faint light, but it was enough to see Zhou Yang's expression clearly.

Seeing the blank look in Zhou Yang's eyes, Pan Yang sighed and closed his eyes again to rest.

It doesn't matter, nothing can go wrong anyway. All he needs to do now is cooperate with 001 in this so-called mission to save the original owner.
