Chapter 252 The Highest Glory 4

Soon both of them were exhausted. Even though they were Alphas, anyone would be unable to withstand such a high-intensity battle.

Zhou Yang's hand holding the dagger was trembling slightly. The wounds on his legs made it difficult for him to continue, and he almost knelt down.

Pan Yang gritted his teeth. These swarms of insects must be insane. No matter how many times he killed them, they seemed to keep regenerating.

001: "Host, I've located the Zerg Queen! 79 meters due north! Killing her directly will cause a riot, so you can take her away first!"

Pan Yang blinked. "The Zerg Queen?"

Zhou Yang, panting heavily, glanced at Fan Yang, who hesitated for a few seconds, seemingly lost in thought: "Fang Fan Yang?"

"Take it." Pan Yang looked at him as he stuffed Xiaoyao into Zhou Yang's hand, gripped his dagger, and made as if to rush into the swarm of insects.

What are you trying to do?!

“Take away the Zerg Queen.” As he spoke, Pan Yang casually slashed down a Zerg. “Xiaoyao, hold on tight and don’t wander off here.”

Listening to his words, Zhou Yang felt like he was going crazy. If he did this, there was a high chance he wouldn't be able to come back, but what could he do?

"Pan Yang, are you serious about liking Alphas?" He felt that if he didn't ask, he might never have the chance in his life.

"I don't like Alphas, I like you, and you just happen to be an Alpha."

Hearing Pan Yang's reply, Zhou Yang chuckled softly, a glimmer of light appearing on his weary face: "If you can come back, I promise you I'll give it a try." So, you must come back, even if you only have your last breath left, you must live.

"Don't worry." Pan Yang rubbed his wrist, and the next second he rushed towards the group of insects. He really felt like he was about to have trypophobia. Soon, Pan Yang saw a different kind of insect.

The insect was larger and rounder, and had small wings, but it was clear that it couldn't fly. Pan Yang cut off the insects around the Zerg Queen, picked it up, and ran away.

In an instant, all the insects' attention was drawn to Fan Yang.

Zhou Yang watched the insects begin to retreat, finally unable to support himself and fell. Looking in the direction where Huan Yang had just rushed out, he could no longer see that person's figure. He could only silently pray that he would come back.

Seeing that the distance was about right, Pan Yang stabbed down without hesitation. In an instant, the entire insectoid race went berserk and pounced on Pan Yang. Almost in the blink of an eye, Pan Yang was buried by the swarm of insects.

The sword began to tremble, and the colors of its patterns grew darker. Zhou Yang gripped the hilt, his unease growing stronger.

The sky darkened again, and the surroundings were pitch black with only the moonlight barely shining. A figure appeared not far away, tightly holding Xiaoyao's hand.

The person drew closer and closer, and finally he could see the person's face clearly. He breathed a sigh of relief, but then his heart clenched. The person was covered in blood, whether from insects or his own, he didn't know.

With all his might, Pan Yang walked to Zhou Yang's side and finally collapsed. He was exhausted; he hadn't fought like this in a long time and needed to rest.

Zhou Yang was startled when he saw him fall to the ground, but then noticed that he was breathing normally and seemed to have just fallen asleep. He relaxed and thought, "It's good that he's alright, it's good that he's alright."

He watched Fan Yang quietly, his nose filled with the unpleasant smell of blood and the faint scent of agave, and before he knew it, he had fallen asleep.

When they opened their eyes again, they stared blankly at the white ceiling for a few seconds before realizing that they were in a hospital.

Looking to the side, I could see the person on the bed next to me. The bloodstains on Pan Yang's body had been cleaned up, and he was lying there quietly, probably because he was too tired.

It took about two more hours for Huan Yang to wake up. During that time, someone from the army came by and said that they would thoroughly investigate the oversight in the news, compensate them with a month's leave, as well as bonuses and medals.

At this moment, there were only the two of them in the entire ward. Zhou Yang was a little uneasy. They should be considered a couple now, right? Ugh, what should he do? He had absolutely no experience in dating.

If he were to fight an Alpha, it would be a piece of cake, but when it comes to dating, how should they get along? He suddenly felt a little awkward.

"Um..." Zhou Yang opened his mouth, "After you're discharged from the hospital, why don't you come stay at my house for a few days?"

After saying that, he wanted to slap himself. What was he even saying?

“Okay.” Pan Yang nodded, not feeling anything was wrong, as if it was the way it should be.

"Alright." Zhou Yang breathed a sigh of relief, glanced at Pan Yang a few times, and the room fell silent again. He got up from the hospital bed, picked up the cane next to him, and said somewhat awkwardly, "I'm going to the toilet."

Once outside the ward, Zhou Yang felt all the tension from before vanish and limped into the bathroom.

Pan Yang only had a muscle strain and would be fine after a day or two of rest, but because of Zhou Yang's leg injury, the two of them ended up staying in the hospital for a week.

As soon as he was discharged from the hospital, Huan Yang packed his things and went to live at Zhou Yang's house. After that, he was often seen walking hand in hand on the street, which looked very strange.

However, neither of them intended to hide it, and they were both well-known figures. Zhou Yang was the youngest major general, having risen from an ordinary soldier to the position of major general at the young age of twenty-three.

As for Fan Yang, his parents were both nobles, and they were well-known in the circle for their power and influence. He was a carefree young master.

But it seems no one thinks they are a couple. Although they were holding hands, it just doesn't seem possible for two Alphas to be together.

However, a father who dotes on his child saw the photo of the two holding hands and immediately went to their doorstep.

Zhou Yang stared at the middle-aged man standing at the door, his whole body tensing up before he immediately reacted: "Your Highness."

Fang Chu nodded: "Is Pan Yang with you?"

"Yes." Zhou Yang quickly stepped aside, and Fang Chu walked in and immediately saw Pan Yang sitting on the sofa.

"Cough cough!"

Hearing the noise, Pan Yang turned around and looked: "Dad."

Fang Chu nodded and slowly walked over: "You've had enough training in the army these past few months. Find some time to go home. Your mother misses you a lot."

"Oh right, do you remember that little princess Emily from before? She used to cling to you every day when she was little. After you left, she differentiated into an omega. Your mother and I felt that she was quite good."

By now, Zhou Yang still doesn't understand? Fang Chu simply saw those messages and wanted to tell Huan Yang to go home and marry an omega.

He stood aside without saying a word. After all, this man was Fan Yang's father, and it would be reasonable for Fan Yang to go back and marry an omega.

Thinking of this, Zhou Yang felt a pang in his heart, and he looked somewhat lost.
