Chapter 900 Dark Fairy Tale 28

Linghu Lan smiled and said, "That's right!"

"Guards, throw this wizard out of my city!" the Rose Queen roared.

A dozen or so people suddenly emerged from the rooms on either side of the main hall. They were dressed in black wizard hoods and black pointed hats, and carried magic wands.

Linghu Lan could easily deduce from their attire that these were the other twelve wizards.

One of the wizards said, "Please leave the Queen's city obediently. This country no longer needs any more wizards."

“Thirteen is an extremely ominous number that will bring disaster to this city. Please leave immediately,” another wizard said.

"Don't even think about leaving any strange curses, there are twelve of us."

The twelve wizards, wands in hand, stood ready.

Linghu Lan's clear eyes swept over the crowd. She recalled that the thirteenth witch in the fairy tale cursed Princess Rose because the king only had twelve golden plates and could only invite twelve witches. The thirteenth witch was so angry that she cursed Princess Rose.

This absurd reason made Linghu Lan laugh. "You don't want to keep me here because there are only twelve gold plates?"

Princess Rose's face showed an embarrassed anger. "I don't want to find another person of unknown origin to become a witch in my country. My father was too kind and took in a thirteenth witch, which brought about this disaster. I won't repeat the same mistake. I'll get rid of her!"

The twelve witches were not surprised at all by the Queen's order. They raised their magic wands at Linghu Lan, and twelve beams of light shot towards her from all directions, each chanting a strange incantation.

Linghu Lan took out her magic wand and instinctively picked up something to shield herself.

It was a magic book, one she found when she was the Princess and the Pea from the evil queen who ruled a kingdom the size of a castle.

Twelve beams of light 'shot' onto the magic book, eliciting bursts of white light.

Linghu Lan felt a lightness in her hand as a golden light flashed from the spellbook and struck the twelve witches' wands.

"Bang!"

"Bang!"

"Bang!"

...

"Bang!"

One by one, the twelve magic wands were smashed to pieces, and the twelve witches fell to the ground, screaming.

An elderly witch got up from the ground and asked with difficulty, "What book is that?"

"I don't know! I found it!" Linghu Lan looked at the magic book strangely.

She originally planned to capture the queen first, but to her surprise, the magic book repelled the twelve witches in one fell swoop, without her having to lift a finger.

Wow, my book is amazing!

She casually flipped through a page and discovered that the magic book, which could previously only be opened one page at a time, could now be opened entirely. The contents, as if imbued with life, instantly flooded into Linghu Lan's mind. Countless magical spells swirled in Linghu Lan's mind, to the point that she could immediately recite them.

The people in the palace were almost stunned by this amazing scene.

Linghu Lan closed her eyes, silently processing what she had learned, then opened them and said to the twelve wizards, "Thank you!"

The twelve wizards blushed. Naturally, they were unwilling to admit that not only had they helped open the magic book, but they had also been repelled by it.

Linghu Lan smiled slightly and walked step by step toward the Rose Queen.

The Rose Queen was terrified. "What do you want to do? Guards! Where are the guards? Come quick!!!"
