Chapter 892 Dark Fairy Tale 20

The hunter left the palace.

They hurried toward the dark forest.

Few people venture into the Dark Forest, which is perpetually gloomy and said to be inhabited by terrifying monsters. However, a hunter was fortunate enough to enter once, when he accidentally chased his prey into the forest while hunting.

That time, aside from gaining some understanding of the darkness of the forest, we gained nothing else.

The hunter reached the edge of the dark forest and found that the thorns that had blocked the forest's entrance had been cut down.

He thought to himself: Oh no, the king's guards have already gone ahead of time.

He screamed anxiously and ran after them.

Suddenly, someone jumped out from behind a big tree and blocked his way.

"hello!"

The hunter stopped abruptly. "Get out of the way, you ignorant madman! Who gave you permission to block my way?"

Linghu Lan smiled: "Justice!"

A strange feeling welled up in the hunter's heart; he had once stood on the side of justice.

He had a gut feeling that something was wrong, but when he thought about his own life, he felt somewhat relieved.

"Get out of the way! I have something important to do!"

"What's up?"

The hunter was somewhat angry; the unfamiliar woman's confident demeanor made him inexplicably uneasy.

"This is none of your business, get out of the way!"

"You want to chase after the king's guards?"

“No!” The hunter’s eyes flickered.

Linghu Lan smiled. "You know, there are two ways a person will behave when they lie: either they avoid eye contact or they keep staring at the person. Your expression tells me that you're lying!"

"Get out of my way! I'm on the Queen's orders. Get out of my sight immediately, or don't blame me for being ruthless!" the hunter shouted. He had already wasted too much time!

"Come on!" Let's hurt each other!

The hunter snorted coldly, drew the dagger from his waist, and stabbed at Linghu Lan.

The moment he thrust out, he saw a blur before his eyes as a figure nimbly leaped behind him, a dagger pressed against his waist.

Linghu Lan felt a surge of triumph in her heart.

ko!

"Don't kill me, please spare me!" The hunter's eyes were filled with terror. This was simply unbelievable. He couldn't understand how she could be so fast!

"What did the Queen send you to do?"

Linghu Lan’s voice was calm, but the hunter sensed a murderous intent in it. He said in a trembling voice, “The Queen wants me to go to the Seven Dwarfs and retrieve a pair of fire boots.”

"Why does the Queen insist on bringing back the fire boots?"

"Ah! I didn't know that. The Queen didn't tell me. I'm just a lowly hunter."

Linghu Lan quickly tied up the hunter, dragged him behind a large tree, and said with a smile to the person behind the tree, "Look, my lord, I told you the Queen would definitely send someone to find the fire boots, but you wouldn't believe me. Now can you prove that the Queen is the witch?"

The hunter saw the person behind the tree and nearly fainted.

There, the palace guards lay sprawled behind a huge tree, unable to move. Clearly, they too had been abducted by this strange woman.

He said in a trembling voice, "Ah, brave lady, I think you must be the incarnation of the goddess of the hunt to have such wisdom and power."

Linghu Lan: "..."

These words of praise...

Honestly, are you just trying to stop me from killing you?
