The abandoned palace was spotless.
It doesn't look like a palace that hasn't been cleaned or tended for ten years. The entire palace seems frozen in time, and even dust refuses to visit it. If it weren't for the thorns growing there, reminding us of the passage of time, this place would probably remain unchanged forever.
"Where is Princess Rose?" Linghu Lan looked around.
In the fairy tale, Princess Rose entered an old attic behind the ruined palace and found an old woman spinning thread. She picked up the spindle and immediately fell into a deep sleep; the curse had taken effect.
The Rose Queen turned her head away, seemingly unable to face Linghu Lan directly. "Go to the end of this road and you'll see a small pavilion. Princess Rose should be inside."
"should?"
“We had already left the palace when the magic took effect.” The Rose Queen lowered her eyes to hide the guilt and embarrassment in them. “All of this was seen through the witch’s crystal ball.”

Linghu Lan turned and walked towards the depths of the palace, climbed the stairs to the attic, and pushed open an ancient door.
A beautiful woman is sleeping peacefully on the ground.
With jet-black hair, fair cheeks, and rosy lips, she looked like she had just fallen asleep; her complexion was still so rosy, making her look incredibly cute.
Is this the legendary Sleeping Beauty?
So beautiful!
A strange feeling swept through Linghu Lan's heart.
She turned to look at the Rose Queen. "Who exactly is she?"
"Ah!" The Rose Queen staggered back a few steps in terror, instinctively gripped by a fear of witches. "She, she is Princess Rose."
Linghu Lan: "..."
She looked indifferently at the Rose Queen, “I once traveled through a dark forest to a place where the king lost his most beloved daughter, whose name was Snow White. Coincidentally, I went to the palace and saw a portrait of Snow White.”
The Rose Queen gripped the spinning wheel tightly to keep from falling. The secret she had kept hidden for over ten years was suddenly revealed, and fear slowly spread from her heart to her limbs, causing her to tremble uncontrollably.
Linghu Lan walked towards her and asked softly, "Snow White, why did you become the Rose Princess? And you, the Rose Princess, why did you become the Rose Queen?"
The Rose Queen gasped for breath, her eyes flashing with resentment. Her noble and elegant demeanor vanished, replaced by a dark and gloomy aura.
"You saw through me!" She sighed, then raised her head proudly after a moment and said, "I am indeed Princess Rose. Princess Rose was my cousin who died young. I merely borrowed her name!"
"You took Snow White away from the seven dwarfs in the Dark Forest, but the dwarfs say that a prince took Snow White away!"
"That's right!" Years of repression finally made the Rose Queen speak out! "I was cursed by the thirteenth evil witch. To protect me from this misfortune, my father and mother raised me like a prince. I disguised myself as a man and traveled around. Once, I happened to pass through the Dark Forest and met a dwarf guarding a crystal coffin. I easily persuaded him to give me Snow White. Since she was given to me, Snow White is naturally my prerogative."
"Aren't you afraid of the thorns in the dark forest?"
"Why should I be afraid? Those thorns may seem like a raging flood to others, but as long as I stand at the edge of the dark forest, they will automatically make way for me."
