After the kiss, Han Lingxi didn't know what it felt like, because her mind was blank and she didn't react at all. She didn't even know how Han Jingchen took her home.
Han Lingxi wrapped her head in a pillow and rolled around on the bed, still annoyed at herself for being so stupid that she didn't even react before Gu Jingchen took advantage of her.

"Mommy, I want to go to work too, okay?"
Han Lingxi rubbed against her mother's arm, looking at her mother with expectant eyes.
"Why did you suddenly decide to go to work? You've only just recovered from your illness; you should rest at home."
"Mom, I'm so bored at home. All my friends are working and don't have time to play with me. I also want to help you and Dad."
Han Lingxi said coquettishly.
"Alright then, I'll have your dad arrange a position for you tomorrow. Go to the company and have some fun. If you don't find it interesting, then come home."
Han's mother couldn't resist Han Lingxi's coquettishness and immediately agreed.
"Thank you, Mommy. I will definitely work hard and live up to your love."
Han Lingxi stood up straight and gave her mother a playful salute.
"Mommy, you should go to sleep early. I need to go pick out my clothes for work tomorrow."
