Chapter 107 Doctor Huang's Embarrassment, Sato Awakens (1/2)

For a moment, everyone in the lab stood there dumbfounded. Huang Tai'an thought his uncle was really getting old and blind; wasn't Xingran sitting right next to him?

"Master, Master, I'm here, I'm alright, please, please don't cry." Su Xingran was truly stunned by her master's actions. She had been sitting beside him and watching over him ever since he was carried outside.

She hadn't expected her master to wake up and not see her sitting there. She wondered if he felt embarrassed now that he was awake. So many people had seen him crying so unceremoniously; she wondered if they would laugh at him.

Doctor Huang, who was still pounding the ground and sobbing, was stunned when he heard his apprentice's voice. He looked up blankly at his apprentice sitting next to him with a concerned expression.

"Xingran, we're saved, right? You're alright, right?" Doctor Huang asked excitedly, grabbing Su Xingran's hand.

“Master, we’re alright now, I’m alright too. Look, Uncle Duan and the others have captured the enemy.” Su Xingran comforted her agitated master. She knew he was scared and worried because she had been insulted by Sato.

For some reason, Dr. Huang had a bad feeling. When he looked around, he knew what that bad feeling was.

Everyone around him was staring at him, especially Huang Tai'an, who seemed not to recognize him. Although Gu Moting appeared expressionless, there was a hint of something in his eyes—"So this is what my uncle is like."

"Xingran, it's so good that you're alright. Um, my legs are a little numb, could you help me walk around to ease the pain?" Doctor Huang felt that if he didn't leave soon, he would really become a monkey on the mountain, on display for people to watch.

Inside the laboratory, the unconscious and bound enemies gradually awoke from their coma. They discovered they were tied up and surrounded by many people dressed in Chinese military uniforms.

The enemies began to struggle violently, trying to break free. What was going on? Why did they have no recollection of being captured?

They were all searching for Sato in the crowd, hoping to get an answer. But they also hoped Sato wasn't there, as that would make it possible to rescue them.

But no matter what, their hopes were dashed. Sato slowly regained consciousness. His first reaction was pain between his legs, and his second was, why did it hurt between his legs?

Sato could open his eyes now. The powder Su Xingran had sprinkled on him would only cause temporary eye pain, not blindness. He opened his eyes, then immediately closed them again.

After a while, Sato opened his eyes again. To his disbelief, he found himself lying on the ground. And right there on the ground outside the laboratory.

Sato realized that his hands were locked. His feet were also locked. He tried to move his legs, and a piercing pain shot through his lower body, stimulating his entire body.

He realized something was wrong; the pain was in his "root." He clearly remembered that brat throwing something into his eyes. A sharp pain shot through his head, and then he lost consciousness.

What did that brat do to him? He dared not think too deeply about it; he had already sensed it. Even without seeing the pain with his own eyes or touching it with his hands, how could he not feel the loss of a part of his body?

"Aaaaah, you little brat, how dare you lay a hand on me! I won't let you get away with this! You just wait, I'll torture you to death!" Sato roared fiercely.
